With reveals he might've ment the stages in the trailer? I dunno, 'reveals' is kinda vague, doesn't neccesarily need to be a character (but that is what everyone wants).

Either way, I just hope we see SOMETHING soon. I like most of these characters, but the collection's a bit underwhelming if this is everything they have to show us.

In all honesty, I think because of the beta leak, it ruined the character schedule. I can see Spike and Raiden supposedly being revealed at TGS but after the leak, they probably decided to push it through the events that followed in August and they left TGS just for stage reveals. Anyways, there's also Eurogamer coming up in a few days so they might reveal SOMETHING. I won't be expecting any character reveals (Probably unlockable/secret characters). Maybe more modes like story mode.

Indeed. As I said earlier, I like a lot of these characters quite a bit, but the lack of Crash/Spyro/Cloud/Snake leaves a gaping hole in the roster. I understand why they would have a hard time getting those characters, but it doesn't make it any less incomplete.

Plus, Sir Daniel and Nariko as the last reveals? That's really odd. Not really going out with a bang like everyone was expecting.

If there's hidden content they're basically lying to keep it a secret, which is terrible business practice (like capcom did with Sentinel).

Of course Cloud wouldn't be playable, haha. Like I said if anything it was going to be Lightning, but even then we all know how Squeenix is with their IPs. I think Raiden fills Snake's shoes just fine, personally. I think universally Snake would have been preferred, but due to his appearance in two other fighting/party games similar to this one, I don't blame them for going with Raiden. Didn't they say earlier thatCrash probably wouldn't be included...?

And Spyro turned gay from the Skylanders stuff. I'd rather have no Spyro than the new gen Spyro.

To be honest though I am a little bummed at the lack of the inclusion of Tomba or Musashi. They would have fit right in. Plus, Tomba is getting a re-release on PSN...

There's really nothing said about Crash.
Only a few quotes from a few conventions such as;
"Of course we considered him," and "Crash would never be DLC."
And it could go either way. (But it's doubtful he would be in)

I don't think there'll be hidden characters, but there will be more characters included in the full game.

Raiden isn't just in because Snake was in DreamMix/Brawl btw. Again, this Raiden is from Metal Gear Rising, not MGS4. The Metal Gear series is now shifting it's focus to Raiden. Raiden is more or less gonna be the new protagonist. But I'm pretty sure everyone wanted Snake, yeah (similair case to Dante's; new stuff is added in to promote new games, but everyone wants stuff from the games they've played and loved).
