There have recently been a few spriting competitions, and for spriters, they are fun to watch and participate in.
If there was a subsection for Spriter's Corner called Spriting Competitions, it would inspire new spriters and new creativity for current spriters.
For example, Halfangelfreak recently challenged Dr. Geno to a JUS spriting competition, so there title would be:


[Accepted] Halfangelfreak vs. Dr. Geno (JUS)


In brackets, you would put the status of the competition, from one of the following:
[Requesting]- Where one user requests a competition against a SPECIFIC user.
[Accepted]- When both users have accepted, but not yet started.
[On-going]- When the spriting competition is well, on-going.
[Voting]- Both users are done with their sprites and are ready for judging. The person with the most votes out of the first 5 votes wins.
[Finished- USER WHO WON]- The competition is over and shall then be locked.

In parentheses, you put what style they are doing. If it's any style you just put (Freestyle)
There would also be a stickied topic for people who want to have a competition, but not against a specific person. So people would just go there looking for an opponent.

However, I still think it would be easier and more efficient to have a specific subsection for the following reasons:
- An addition of spriting competitions added to the Contest section would create clutter.
- It would allow for more freedom, because you wouldn't have to pm Hakker (who I don't think would like the idea of sprite competitions overrunning the section)
- It's a place where spriters of all levels could feel free to test themselves.

There are so many sprite competitions in the Contest section already, it's almost like we should just call it the Sprite Contest Section

Well I finished up my series, So not a whole lot now lol

If that's the case then I see no problem with more sprite contests being posted in there as long as it's not overflowing

Perhaps a limit? Like brawl tournaments?
