they have no trouble ruining themselves, that's kind of the point
jenny death is cool. listened to it once with NOTM for the full effect, wasn't paying as close attention as i wanted but i'll give it more attention later

I think both are equally fantastic in their own way.
I can safely say that The Powers That B is my favorite DG album at this point in time.

so i gave jenny death a few more listens, i really dig the rock influence and the guitar parts are actually quite fantastic. powers that b is a pretty cool album overall. i dig it. pleasantly surprised.
still doesn't top government plates : P

I've come to the conclusion that IBMWMFITUS would have been a perfect opener for GP.
Repeatedly screaming "I break mirrors with my face in the United States" then Pillbox starts up afterwards with the sound of glass breaking.
Would have been amazing.
Just in terms of lyrics though. Obviously it wouldn't have flowed well, stylistically.

eh, i don't really agree but at least you know they don't fit together or flow well
lyrically i enjoy how primal and simplistic and repetitive government plates is (which applies to the general mood of the entire album i guess) so i guess i could see mc ride screaming "I DON'T CARE ABOUT REAL LIFE" on GP but i think GP is perfect as it is
