-Call mia/miss [insert champion here] if an enemy in your lane is gone, s/he might be going to kill/gank a ally on your side.
-Play with a variety of champions, mostly because your favorite might be taken, and variety in your team is nice.
-Look up guides for a general idea of how your character plays/builds like
-Last hitting is very useful, don't simply auto-attack the creeps, try and make the killing blow on them to gain gold, and so you won't push the lane so that you're right near their tower, and might be set up for a gank.
And yadda yadda, it's best to play first and get a hang of it, and are you playing on the US, or EU server? I've heard the US is better only because at best, we'll have only Brazilians.
Also, Jax, Teemo, Mordekaiser, Pantheon, and Ryze are apparently gonna get reworks like Eve. Only one I've heard is that Morde's Mace of Spades rework was apparently OP in testing, especially in 1v1s.

I think you can just change the client, or search it up, was about to go EU in case of downtimes, but eh, I have too many games on my comp as it is. And most MGers here go US I think.

And later on, maybe find someone to play with you, I have by going with the people on /v/ and won most matches. Though it's best to take just one usually, 3-4 will land you a random, who could suck, and a full pre-made team can lead into some hilarity (going on a level 12 account, I ended up fighting against 30s).
