Ok for this one I'm trying something new that will probably completely ruin my sleep habits.

A number of our European players have complained about X monthlies running too late for them and I don't blame them for not attending at 8-10 at night. Now while most of our North American players are not willing to wake up any earlier for these (and I don't blame them either), I will; and as such I am introducing The European Bracket.

The European Bracket runs much earlier than it's North American counterpart to accommodate those who can't attend because it's simply too late for them. In the same light that should bring us a higher EU player count (maybe?) because it's earlier (no s***).

As always, the North American Bracket will run at 12pm PDT (That's 3pm EDT for those who cannot tell time at all) on Saturday, 18 April 2015. That time has not changed. For the European Bracket, the time for that will be 2pm GMT (use a time converter to find your time, should still be relatively early), also on Saturday. For me I'm waking up at 6 in the morning to run the European Bracket. Jeez I need a European TO.

After it's all said and done the top 4 players from each bracket will be seeded into a final top 8 bracket on Sunday at 11am PDT, with Hypest 8 being at 3pm this makes sense.

All this said you know where the rules and scores are, and here we gooooooooooo.

* Do not sign up for both brackets. You will be removed from one of them the night before, and I'll make it the worse option of the two that you play in.

Can we get a Swiss/Double Round Robin bracket for EU? Because I'm definitely not sure we'll have more than 6 Europeons.
Also the more I think about it , the more I think it's not worth it because among the 10 good EUs I know , 3 just don't want to attend tourneys. ._.

If we don't get more than 8 then that is an option.

Kyoz is not even aware of my call out so don't think this will happen for sure.
So please, as long as it's not official , DON'T PUT "Kyoz v. Lunary" in the title.

1) You're transgressing your "on the last Saturday" rule you love so much
2) Hypest is the day right after.
3) Inb4 sh*tstorm if Hypest realizes that he lost tons of participants because of X5.

1. Smash Island will not move primarily because Dark Ermac has a concrete schedule and I have the ability to be flexible.

3. Nah. I specifically designed this to work with Hypest 8's date/time.
4. You're guaranteed top 8 anyway, so I'm p sure you'll fight Dark Ermac at the very least. I myself am probably not going to participate anyway.
5. I only host Qualifiers if there is a lack of tournaments.

Then put something else , like the date or the fact that there are two separated bracket , whatever.

I'm cool with it starting from 7-10PM. If it starts later than that tho I can't play.

Same , I got used to it.
The fact that there are far less Europeans and even less Asians in the community is quite significant.
If you can find SSF2 EU players on reddit or smashboards , go for it. Because for now we might only be 5.

Or we can have X5 be at 1:30 check in for NA 2:30 play time also for NA thats like 6 or something for EU then the tourney might be 2-3 hours so the EU players would bedone around 9 or something inb4

Another point we see Lunary vs Kyoz all the time in most tournies maybe DarErmac vs Jammy woud be hype both hosted tournies DE has beaten Jammy a number of times Jammy probs has some of that salt or some people else we need something hype because SIX had no Salty suite
