Roy is a clone of Marth as Ganondorf is a clone of Captain Falcon.
Seriously Roy isn't really comparable to marth anymore. They share the same side and down specials, everything else works completely different.

Well yeah, but again they work very differently. Roy doesn't throw as far so it leaves them open to follow up with a combo. Marth and Lucina have more knockback

roy's throws just share animations which aren't super important in the long run but i suppose that makes a clone if it wasn't then we'd be talking about how much roy is trash
