Hi , I didnt know where to put this topic so I put it here. First of all I really want to join the team to improve/create new technology on to the game. Like : Peer 2 Peer Gaming(in other words online) improve performance Whats good whats not vcam improvements Super Smart Ai(like almost unbeatable) Finish the engine. / I basicly wonna help with EVERything. I been a As2-3 coder since I was 9. I Am an extreme fast coder. (you can test me on as2-3 me if you want.) The reason why is there button lag in fighting games online : The reason why is there button lag because your sending data(buttons, xyz, gotoandstop) to the user ur playing with and getting the same data back. When you get it back you character reacts to what you got back. in other words the gameplay is happening right in the middle of both users. this is the best way because theres "no lag hits or laggy frames on the gameplay but on the buttons"."you see the gameplay fine in other words " I also know how to lower the button lag by lowering the fps so that the data your sending and getting back have more time to get there. I have some test I did to prove it too you. -- I know alot of knowledge on game developing / animation knowledge. I even made My own games. The Games I made: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/554321 : Combat Tournament (just graphics sucks) http://www.stickpage.com/combofactorygame.shtml : Combo Factory I wasnt really happy with combo factory because there was alot of fails but it was my 1st time working with a graphics/artist. The guy I was working with plan out the gameplay with me and told exactly what to do. Also I am still making another game with him . It is 97% done. I am just waiting for him to send me the new animations he done for me to add it in the game and release it to the world. The hole engine is just I just have to wait for him to respond. -- I love playing SSF2. SSF2 is a good game so far. From my eyes I see alot improves I can help you guys with. I can be very creative when comes to fighting games like ssf2. I love making games. I be more than happy to help

It's funny, because if TSON were to try and get on the team now, this is probably something like what he'd post.
Thank you, but we really do have enough programmers right now, it's spriters we're lacking in.

this is ironic. maybe you should become a better spriter. I'm sure you will get to do some programming while carrying that title.
I'm more of a spriter than a coder, unfortually I'm the least popular one, but I do know how to code a little bit. those game are extremly unfair. I don't like getting beat in corner relentlessly.

You obviously didnt went to the tutorial and find out how to dodge combos/combo breakers. The game is fair. Also do you mean creating the hole sprite for the character? Or improve its laws of physics/animations for the character?

yeah yeah yeah I read them it fun. kinda remind me of "muramasa the demon blade". I actually glitch my way through the floor and fell forever at some point, but I still like the camera effects. I meant creating whole sprites, but if that isn't your thing I could understand. because of your coding skills you might get to mess with the physic/ animations while you do that. anyways go for it if you want just remember I want the title too so I'm not gonna make anywhere near easy for you to become a spriter.

Well I wasnt going for Creating the hole Sprite, but fixing the sprites / drawing new image on it / more movement on it for it. well here are some explains on what I am exactly aiming for; http://www.2shared.com/document/5-ukek8G/Mario.htmlthe "after"animations for mario shows that I have added/drew more image so it can look alot more smooth and make alot more sense . that includes the fighting/hurt animation as well the "before" is just me putting them together the way it was. to me it looks boring to look at. the "special Effects" I made using nothing but flash. My goal on this game "if I ever join" is to make the game "feel" and play good/action pack. Can i join in for Special effects/impact/feel of the game?

Hmm, never seen anyone ballsy enough to actually ask to be a dev with line of sight of my sections before. I'm not sure whether there is some unwritten rule against openly requesting to become a dev or not though.

I don't have the program to run it(and not downloading to my computer nethier) I guess you can try that, but in recents updates on SSF2 I think they was covering those improvement, not that I'm saying it's too late but that they may be sastify with what they got. you do have the A in "action" from what I can tell from your fan games thought. he problaly didn't read the rule(like most people) I was gonna do this but I needed a test run thread first with my not so famous (does this look professional?) thread in the spriter section.

You've sure got courage in going right up and asking the devs if you can join their ranks.
While courage isn't a bad thing in small doses, the devs are a hard crew, and it will not be easy to join them. If you plan to do spriting, you'll have to be a really good spriter. Are you up to the challenge? From the looks of your work, I'm not sure about that.

Getting into the dev group is easy.
Staying is the hard part.

Have you seen the 1st dev blog? It seems like they have aesthetics down pat, I think you would have been more useful in the last demo...
