they looked at that s*** and said "yes, this is worthy of the name Metroid", a game whose fanbase has been in disarray for years because of how bad the last game was

it looks boring and uninspired and it uses the metroid name for no reason so yes every part of it screams shovelware and i think the outrage is entirely justified

I believe they use that title because they didn't want it to end like Codename S.T.E.A.M, which end in a commercial failure
still a bad idea to utilize a famous franchise to promote a new game

Square Enix: W T F !? The whole thing was nothing but talking and no translator at points. The speakers with their awful timing clap clapping while no one else did and this guywas theonly person that I was intrested in. I laugh too hard when the troll train started with KH3. D+ never again.

People's reaction to it in the WC, we all thought it was gonna be a simple fun eshop title. Which it should be. Not an overpriced fake metroid game.

Just checked out some of the gameplay for Paper Jam, and it looks... like a Mario & Luigi game. Not sure what I expected. Adding Paper Mario's commands to M&L's makes me a little worried that it'll be Partners in Time 2.0 in terms of gameplay, but at the same time he's got some interesting gimmicks in battle, like his trio moves in addition to regular bros moves and his power to make copies of himself. Hopefully it has a memorable antagonist, because that's what people love about M&L and Paper Mario, and having the villain just be two Bowsers feels a little weak.

I mean, I'll probably buy it no matter what, but either way, color me intrigued.

Dream Team was fun generally but it was a really weak M&L game, and that's a big reason why

I definitely won't be getting Paper day one because of it. I hope they've learned from their mistakes though
