re: Ice Climbers may be cut

A lot of people say it may be because of hardware limitations. But iirc, the 3DS has as much power as a gamecube, and with the potentional of 4 Olimar and a total of 12 Pikmin being on a stage at once the rendering shouldn't be the issue either. I am skeptical on them being removed for technical reasons. The polar bear from the Ice Climbers franchise also shows up in Smash Run, for what that's worth.

Where does the All-Star image come from? It isn't in the Imgur album

If the lock there is to be believed it seems like that means this isn't the final roster after all ((and the image also confirms that All Star uses the terrible Brawl ordering)

I think it's already been -sort of- 'confirmed' that the final roster hasn't been totally leaked, just certain characters. I believe the leaker himself stated that (disregarding the DLC comment) but I can't really find anything to confirm this right off the bat so don't quote me on it.



I agree with you on this. Obviously the guys at nintendo have really poured their hearts in the reveal trailers and they've been really cool. The way Sakurai has been releasing content has been super hype and this kind of ruins the phase for both him and us I guess.The leaker was kind of rude to punch Nintendo in the face like that. I guess it backfired on him though, what with him getting fired (and giving this event on his track record, he probabaly won't ifnd a job in this line of work anytime soon) and probabaly a lawsuit as well.

Wow... almost every day Sakurai shared info of the game little by little to build up hype, and then bam. Just like that it's not so exciting to know more info...
Overall I think that this roster is fine. Really strange that dr. mario and dark pit would be separate characters over ice climbers, and really weird why they'd remove wolf and lucas and not add a newcomer to replace them... but that's what was decided and I'm okay with it.

Also I hear that bowser jr. can be swapped with the other koopa kids? why? why waste time making 8 versions of the same character?

That's true but the credible parts are the ones we can see. There's nothing stopping him from pulling names out of his a** (especially those on the imgur album, which suspiciously contains none of the Brawl vets and all highly requested newcomers)

On a serious note the Koopaling thing is brilliant and I can't wait to see it in action and also use Roy constantly for laughs
