Get prepared to see a bunch of random topics being brought up.

What ever happened to the Infinite "Tiger Blade > Dair > Tiger Blade" trick?

Dair cancelling is an Auto-cancel if I remember.

I think Sonic Thrust should be less safe.

Has Anyone noticed that you can dash-cancel ANYTIME in your dash? I was playing a match with a player I know, and I managed to clip him with my Dtilt.

I dunno that was a thing.

Only far up. Otherwise you can only AC outta Rising Blade.

Yeah, the shield drop lag doesn't halp.

He has high traction, plus you can crouch cancel pretty much anytime to stop momentum.

Sonic Thrust isn't that safe. It's one of those moves that you should punish by positioning yourself around it instead of shielding.

Ridiculously long. Trying to punish it usually results in being punished yourself. It's one of the best edge guarding tools in the game.

Well yes, the hitbox lasts a long time, but both it and its owner are immobilized for the duration of the move. One can simply jump over and bop Lloyd in the noggin.

Really hard to do if this is done midair. Even moreso when you're recovering.

That makes sense. But usually if you have a long-range move you cann also Edge Guard Lloyd pretty hard, so it balances out.

The problem isn't edgeguarding Lloyd, but how easy it is to edgeguard with Lloyd using SideB. And another problem is that it's power is insane for how long it stays out. Trying to jump over it and attempt to hit him below midair leaves you an opening for an utilt, unless you're Marf with dat range.

If you're fast the U-Tilt won't get you in time. You can also Shield it, and then counter attack. The move lasts a long time, but that is also one of its weakness. It doesn't finish fast enough. Reacting to it online might be harder though.

Ever tried shielding midair?

Lloyd's sideb is long enough to hit you out of air dodge.

But you can move during your air dodge so Lloyd can no longer hit you.

Assuming you have any momentum at all. If not, you're going straight down, or some easy angle where SideB can easily land.
