Just throwing this to the wind, and no personal offense, but Roy doesn't do anything. He may be 'assigned' to the dev section, but so are Kiki and Zero Insanity, which is plenty. I don't see a reason for another section mod to be there, especially when that section mod only 'mods' maybe once every three months there (maybe not even that), and even then it's only because he doesn't like the conversation that's going on. Mainly because it isn't in his favor. No offense, but he's a waste of a mod slot if I ever saw one.

Thats true, but not saying much at all. I bet you couldn't even name the active devs. This egocentric stereotype that keeps getting pulled hasn't been true for a very long time. I think you all should reassess, as CheDDar, Shounic, thedobaga, etc. aren't around anymore.
I don't really post outside of the two SSF2 sections anymore, anyways. So you're holding me to old data there, too.

But I'd like to clear something up, since everyone's whining about it. Being a dev doesnt directly increase the prospects of you becoming a mod because you're a dev - but as a side benefit to being a dev, we get closer to Cleod. All that means is that he knows us better, and thus can identify who he can trust from us, by his experiences with us. A potential mod should try and do that with as much of the staff and community as possible. Your best bet to being a mod isn't being a dev. Its trying to win over more staff and users that can put in a good word for you.
So if all devs have the aforementioned 'holier-than-thou' attitude, Cleod would probably have noticed. When devs are brought up in the mod section, he (and everyone else) is free to object. And they do, when necessary. The site isn't as corrupt as you guys think/want it to be. Give the dev-bias accusations a rest.

As far as I've seen, Roy is simply a less-retarded version of NU. If you want to get rid of Roy, I'd recommend NU first.

Honestly, I don't think we need three section mods for the dev's section at all. I don't even think we need two, when we have maybe two active topics and section mods for all of the other sections.
