The Smash community seems to like villians and DK games a lot, and hate spinoff sports and party games...

It's probably the fact that MK is the only villain in the game. We need more.

Wouldn't call MK a villain, but yeah I do agree that we need more villains. We're already getting Bowser, so that's a start. Ganondorf & King Dedede are pretty much guarunteed at this point. Some villains that could be debatable are King K. Rool, Wolf and Medusa (assuming Pit is added).

Frankly, a lot of us find the spinoffs to be kind of boring, like the yearly Madden NFL games that dominated the shelves with a "new" entry every year. And yet those are still popular with people who like sports.

This has nothing to do with Daisy; I'm only saying that, generally speaking, there isn't a lot of overlap between competitive Smash's and Mario Party's audiences. They're enjoyed by different demographics entirely.
Casual Smash is a different matter, but this forum leans heavily towards the competitive side, what with SSF2's focus on tournament viability. You're not going to find a lot of fans of the luck-based Mario Party titles on a fanbase that prides itself in being skill-based.

Again; this has nothing to do with Daisy specifically. Just saying that different groups enjoy different genres.

I like spinoffs though. Mario Kart DS/Wii/8 and Mario Power Tennis 4life!

I'd like to believe that the existence of central highway might possibly mean the return of Zero. I know it's been a stage for several version's but I'd love to see zero done in smash as he has alot of potential. The same goes for Simon Belmot.

If we're getting Zero, we should get X first. (He wouldn't be a clone like most peoplle assume, let's remember he is way taller than megaman Classic and has enough variety of different weapons to make a completely different moveset)

I can understand wanting X, but it seems redundant to have two mega mans. If we can only get two mega man characters, I'd prefer Mega Man Classic and Zero.

If I'm not mistaken, X was actually cut by the developers and replaced with Classic Mega Man when the new roster was made. But I definitely want Zero in this game. He was my outright favourite in SSF1.

However, a lot of people have been wondering which tier ZeRo woduld be in if he was added.

Yeah, well, he was cut at the time Rock Lee, and 4 Original Characters were perfectly okay in the roster.

I want Simon Belmont in SSF2.
