Pretty criminal that we don't have a thread for this already. It's only been out for a week.

For those who don't know, Undertale is a new RPG about a young child who falls down a hole and lands in the world of monsters. On your way to try and escape, you meet new people and gets to learn about a massive society previously unknown, and learn about yourself as well. There are some dark secrets in this world, as it turns out...
What makes it unique is its combat system; enemy attacks target your soul directly, but you can dodge them in real time, bullet hell style. On the opposite side of the coin, you're able to go through the entire game without killing anyone, even bosses. Of course, you could kill enemies if you wanted to, but knowing you can spare them instead, what kind of person would that make you?

i would argue that you should edit your op to be a little less spoil heavy! this is the kind of game absolutely where it make sense for people to play through and learn what they can and cant change in the storyline on their own.

half of mg shilling the s*** out of the game probably makes him not want to play it (which is lame but w/e)
definitely worth playing tho. but it isnt really a game that you can talk about freely with people unless they've completed it.
im currently doing a genocide run. it's horrifying. absolutely horrifying.

to any1 considering playing this game: don't look up anything about it. just download the demo and if you like it, buy the game and play it. that's it. go into it as blind as you can

Because if you do a genocide run, it locks you out of the true ending.

Did True Pacifist for my first run. Which looks like it's also going to be my last, because I'm a weenie who listens to flowers. Though genocide looks like it's probably not as fun anyway.

The game is definitely worth the hype though. I highly recommend at least trying out the demo.
