Mother 4...

Seems to have its ups and downs as far as its quality goes.

The new battle menu looks pretty cluttered, for example. I like how each character has their own personal favorite food, favorite thing and level-up jingle, though and I'm hopeful that it's marginally as good as the rest of the games in the series.

There's an odd sort of charm that it'll need in order to fit in. It doesn't even necessarily need to be the same sort of odd charm as the previous games, as Mother 1, 2 and 3 were all pretty different from one-another. Just something...

"I have nothing to announce regarding Mother 3 at this time" means he's not announcing anything right now. He could announce it tomorrow. I hate how everyone assumes that this means there are no plans, when all it means is he's not saying anything yet.

It's not like there isn't a great fantranslation of it or anything. I guess I can understand wanting an official release, but I don't see the problem if there isn't one. You can play GBA games on a f*** phone these days.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if an official translation was worse than the fantranslation anyway

I thought that Nintendo would take down the fan translation when they were offered it. But they didn't. Which I think means that they're ok with people playing Mother 3 illegally. I mean, they know it's out there, and they do nothing about it.

on the website they advocate purchasing the game, and as far as i know playing roms is fine if you own the game

Mother 1 was just bad in terms of grinding, but that was a common problem back in 80's RPGs.
Glad to see that is finally coming for America, better late than never huh
