Including explosives? That actually would be pretty funny.

That would be absolutely amazing. Just saying. But I don't want items that change a character's moveset. Screw Attack is fine since it only replaces jump, and an item that makes your dodge roll deal damage might be alright, but anything beyond that just seems like a bad idea to me.

Battering items replace A Combo, Dash Attack, FTilt, and FSmash... What's an item that replaces one special move compared to all that?

And Mario. And Luigi. Where are we going with this? Anyway, If Pokemon Trainer sees replacing, I'd love to have Meowth. Also, does anyone think that Lucario will be replaced by someone other than Mewtwo or Zoroark?

I highly doubt either Mewtwo or Lucario will return.

You might as well just say everyone. Almost every character has at least one fire attack. Fire is the most common element on attacks.

Mario Luigi Bowser Diddy Kong Link Zelda Ganondorf Toon Link Samus Zero Suit Samus ROB Fox Falco Ness Lucas Ike Mr Game & Watch Snake Olimar Charizard C. Falcon Handful... Right... Im sure you're probably thinking of explosion based attacks, but most of them also use the fire element as well, so they still count.

Exactly what i was thinking, since there arent any characters yet to have a fire based moveset. It still will affect some characters though who depend on those fire based moves. It would probably affect C. Falcon the most, i think he has the most fire based attacks.

The ones in bold you are confusing for moves that have a burn status on them, or explosions. Those aren't fire elemental attacks.

But think about this, if they were to implement an imunnity to fire attacks, dont you think they would give immunity to fire based explosion attacks too? I mean they do use the fire graphic upon hitting the target.
If they implement an item that gives immunity to fire, it should include every move that has the fire graphic effect upon connecting.

Well then the item's use would be ambiguous and dumb at that point.
So either they wouldn't create such a strange item or only make it immune to attacks that are very clearly fire based.
