Hello!!! Well, I wanted to post a topic here to see if i'm the only person on the MG forums who plays Need for Madness.
You may not have heard of this game, it isn't too large.
Need for Madness (
www.needformadness.com) is a mad car racing game developed by Radical Play (
www.radicalplay.com). In this game, you race in cartoon-like 3D cars, and you can also jump ramps and do stunts in the air in order to give your car more power. (the more power you have, the stronger and faster your car will be)
Racing isn't the only way to win in Need for Madness. You can also win by driving around the stage and crashing the other cars. By destroying (wasting) all the other cars, you can win the stage! Just be careful not to get wasted, yourself
There are currently 3 games in the Need for Madness series (in my opinion, they get better as they go). There's Need for Madness 1, and Need for Madness 2, for starters. They both have the same basic gameplay, but NFM2 has more cars, stages, and the cars and track pieces are more detailed.
Need for Madness Mutliplayer is the online multiplayer version of Need for Madness 2. There aren't a huge amount of players that are on there, but it's pretty fun. It's free to register a trial account, where you can play unlimited games. But if you want to use custom cars, custom stages, as well as create your own, a full account costs only $11 a year.
Which brings me to making cars and stages, there are tons of cool cars out there. You can make your own car using the developer-released car maker, in which you plot coordinates on a 3d plane, or you can import a WAV (.obj) into the car maker.
The stage maker is easy, you just drag and drop the pieces
Anyways, it's a game you should definitely check out, even if you aren't into racing games. It's quite something. Here's an "about" page from the official developer:

Oh, and here's a little fan-made trailer, which was approved by the creator:
