There are Demos in select GameStops. The nearest one to me doesn't have one.
However, there is a public demo coming later this month or next like TerminX said.

Hell, a Katamari could just be a regular weapon. You throw it, it rolls along the floor, it picks up anyone it hits, then when it hits the wall it explodes and everyone trapped loses AP and goes flying.

In other non-fanboy news, I've been playing the GameStop demo more or less every day, and at this point I will basically destroy anyone when playing as PaRappa, Kratos, Jak or Big Daddy. PaRappa and Kratos especially. PaRappa becomes deadly in Overtime, since you can just run into a corner, spam his Boxxy Boy AP generator, and get so much special boost. I pulled that off once in Triple Overtime, and got a Level 3 and a Level 2 in that one minute. Won by a mile.

Can you tell me a bit more about how Big Daddy plays? Like, what special moves he has and stuff like that.

Big Daddy is basically the quintessential heavy character. He's got stats like Bowser, and if I had to compare his playstyle to one character, I'd say Ganondorf. Of course, it's not exactly like that, it's just a generalization.

First, keep in mind that the game doesn't work like Brawl. The four face buttons each have their own use: X is jump, Square is Light attacks, Triangle is Strong attacks, and Circle is Fierce attacks. It's like a traditional fighting game in that regards, but for the sake of simplicity, all Fierce attacks are basically special moves. Sometimes Strong attacks are special too.

Now, Big Daddy's Light attacks are nothing to write home about. They're generally fast, but he can't combo with them very easily. Big Daddy is not one to combo. Or maybe I'm just playing him wrong.

The Strong attacks make up the bulk of his power. His neutral attack is a drill punch attack for some good damage. Use it while moving, and he'll do a dash attack, which will end by him smacking opponents to the ground if you hit Triangle again. When side-Strong is used in the air, he does a diagonal downward fall which deals good damage, kinda like Sonic's down aerial but with more horizontal. His up-Strong is a drill uppercut with forward movement, which has good trapping capabilities. And his down-Strong is his basic crowd control move, in which he smashes the floor several times, making DK-style shock waves. The number of floor smashes seems to depend on how many opponents are nearby, I haven't mastered how the move works just yet. But if you jump in the middle of a group and use the attack while in the air, you can trap everyone in your attack and get some decent AP.

For the sake of keeping things relatively fair, they gave BD Plasmids, which he uses in all of his Fierce attacks. The neutral attack is the Incinerate Plasmid, which works like Bowser's flame breath. It goes diagonally downward when used in the air. The side Fierce is Electro Bolt, which stuns enemies for a short time and also goes diagonally downward when airborne. Up Fierce is Cyclone Trap, which is a close range move that can send opponents flying. Useful at times. The down Fierce is Winter Blast, directed at the floor, creating a Sub-Zero floor trap that freezes any opponent who steps in it. Hold the attack down to extend its reach.

Now, on to specials.

Level 1: A Little Sister gets thrown, flies in a short arc, and steals the ADAM from any opponent she touches, killing them instantly. Good against enemies falling from the sky to hit you, as well as for hitting groups a close distance from you.

Level 2: He turns enraged, and all his attacks kill. Use your side-Strong dash attack a lot; its range gets extended in this form.

Level 3: He floods the entire area. All opponents are unable to move or attack, and he can just dash into them to kill them. Once you learn how to control BD underwater, you can get plenty of kills this way.

Hope this helps you with your PSASBR fan-fiction.

Correction: Incinerate does not function like Bowser's flame breath. Instead, it's a chargeable fire punch. When used in midair, it does work as flame breath. We regret the error.

I'm not sure I believe him. I want to, I really f*** want to, but it's just too perfect. And even he acknowledges that it might not be legit... I don't know.

LOL!

That is too good to be true. Confirming the 3 out of the 4 that everybody has been dying for..
I'm definitely calling it a fake but who knows.. Probably NYCC could surprise the hell out of us..

More like four out of the five, really. I assume you're skipping Wander?

The lack of Team Ico is a huge hole in the game. Not as big as the other four, but still notable.

Found some interesting info on the main forums. That bottom pic. That's a stage we have never seen. It looks like an Ico stage. Maybe Escape Plan? Not sure.
User on the official forums: show
There is some dialogue from Omar at the beginning about SuperBot's goals and intentions with the game (nothing we haven't heard before), but things get interesting later on:

-Kratos and Sweet Tooth are rivals.
-Big Daddy and Sackboy are rivals, and it's because Big Daddy "flies into a rage when his Little Sister decides Sackboy is cuter than he is." There is a screenshot of their cutscene as well.
-Minions are confirmed, and there is a screenshot of the Kat (DmC) minion that we previously saw. Captain Qwark will also be a minion.
-The final boss will be "instantly recognizeable to old-school PSone fans."
-Another mode, known as Combat Trials, features short, character-specific challenges meant to teach new skills and put them to the test.

You know, now that that letter was reveled, people are saying that Cloud, Snake, Crash, and Wander were removed from the disc (assuming they were even in the game to begin with, whether they were or not I don't know) to be released as free post-launch DLC because of the leak. Take that how you will.

But then how would they advertise the new Devil may Cry reboot?
yes I'm aware you could say the same thing for the Big Daddy, but in their defense, they look better than those robots with mustaches in Infinite

Well they said all-stars so I didn't thought a reboot could be in an all-stars game.
(Just to be clear, I'm not saying this because of hatred toward DmC)

It's just the most recent form of Dante. Like how they took the most recent form of Heihachi and Spike and Cole and etc.

Super Smash Bros. did this also, with Pokemon Trainer wearing the FireRed/LeafGreen costume and Pit getting a completely new redesign and so on.

Jak doesn't look like Jak 1 at all. If that's actually what that's supposed to be, call me disappointed.
Kessler's f*** awesome, I love it.
Donte's costume is as s*** as his character, but I assume a Dante costume will be in the game.
This is also the first I've heard of the Uncharted Hero thing. Kinda cool.

Can't wait to see the on disc ones. And more importantly, I can't wait to finally get my hands on this game! None of my Best Buys/Gamespoots have the demo.

Well, there's actually two more costumes that have been leaked that are in-game.

I have no idea what FP's alt is but, Sweet Tooth's is from TM3

Also, the main site added a move-list for each character.
