Serene looked at Eton with shocked look on her face. "Who said I didn't want to go in the town?" she asked him, starting to show a smile. "I'd rather go in. It's better to do that then wait out here for my death." She gave Black King the command to go forward towards the town.

OOC: Yes, how kind of DH, at least he knows how to take care of his RP

Tania commanded Windy, who still seemed slightly nervous to fly after Black King, she glided onto the ground, landing silently on the cobblestones. "I think it is safer that we stick together as a group" said Tania, "Now.." she looked around with her eyes glittering hopefully "Does anyone want to guess where any hot springs, or baths may be?"

OOC: Hahaha, and to think that sometimes I need to remind DH to post...

Rana

Rana wiped a strand of hair from his eyes and shivered. The town was empty. Not a human soul... But there was something else, like a giant, complex rat, he thought. Rana closed his eyes as he approached the place and tried to see the thing clearly, but its mind was spastic and unlike the things Rana knew. He drifted away from the thing and thought again of his shivering. He was still cold. He was certain that the others were changing him, if only by being near him.


Gabriel

Clatter.
Gabriel's eyes shot to the door. He scrunched them up and stared. Somebody was outside. He had heard them twice and he had seen that big bird. He stood and peeked out the door. The gate was very near to him, and the wood had holes and cracks in multiple places. There was movement. It was far away, but heading for the city. "Lucifer?"
"Hmm?" Lucifer had crouched down to admire Gabriel's carving of a bird.
"Do you hear them?"
"Well they're probably not going to do anything. We should stay in the hut I think."
Gabriel nodded and bit his fingernails.

"Oh come on Tekun, it cant be that bad" She said to him as she nudged up against his shoulder. Stepping past him as they approached the desolate area. "I agree with the Clunky knight" Tara said aloud to them all, forgetting the Pegasus Knights name, though, truthfully, she didn't care much for it, she was a warrior from the mainland after all. "It is best we all stick together, a deserted town doesn't chill your spine does it?" She playfully teased as she came to a stop near the front of the group, hands at her hips. She too knew not lied within this place, but she kept a straight face regardless.

Barbas eyed the small beast, eyes narrowed. He's playing it defensive. Thought Barbas. Attacking now may not be the best idea. He smirked, pulling back on his bow. Arrow ready, he let go. As the arrow flew forward, Barbas dove off to the side, grabbing another arrow in the process. The arrow cut through the air, heading for the creature's beastly head.


Charisma thought for a moment. "What if Dragon Fang was attacked, too?" She asked. "What if it's in just as bad shape as bad shape?" She sighed, looking ahead at the smoke. "Something tells me, this isn't going to be fun."

"So, are we all going in then?" Nechis asked. He had barely been paying attention to what the others were saying. "I don't have a problem with that." he stated, and filed into the group. 'This place gives me the creeps...' he thought, but decided not to show that. He rather wanted to go into the desolate area regardless, as the darkness inside the town called him, peaking his curiosity.

Everyone had decided to tag along and enter the village. They entered through a slightly open gate. After everyone had entered, thegate seemed to close slowly on it's own as a wind blew. The village was in complete ruins, very few building remained fully in tact. Some were burnt down completely, others scorched. Some buildings were just piles of wood. On top of that, the village reaked of death and smoke. Bodies littered the streets, a battle had taken place a while ago. Arrow's in the ground, slash marks, weapon's dropped where the wielder fell. No mercy was shown at all. Civilian corpses lay amongst the corpses as well, mutilated, some compeltely unrecognizable A standard of a black setting sun blew in the wind, tattered and burnt.

Eton looked away at the sight. It bothered him, so horrible. The damage was far worse then the attack on his village. Seeing the standard, he couldn't help but wonder if the clan really deserved to suffer under an attack three times as brutal as their own.

Tekun at this point was nearly clinging to Tara's arm, his teeth were chattering due to his shackiness. He didn't want to return to his village's attack, but he didn't want to be alone. He reamined silent, distrubed once again by the site.

Julius didn't know what to think. If the village was under attack, they would be s*** out of luck. He cursed under his breath. "I don't know. I don't like it either. Let's be careful alright, make sure you have your tome ready."

The bonetheif jumped back at the arrow being shot and then turned to look at Barbas who dove and fired another arrow at it's skull. It hissed and moved it's head, the arrow scraping across it's skin. Leaving a nice bloody wound it's small head. It let out a screech of some sort and took several steps forward and leapt at him.

Tania's legs felt like they were made of jelly, she wobbled and leaned against Windy. She covered her mouth with a handkerchief, and looked away from the revolting sight. So many emotions welled up inside of herself, anger, fear, sadness, distress. This was not a sight anyone should have had to witness.

Barbas didn't have another arrow ready, so he improvised. Using his bow, he whacked at the creature that was now inches away from him. Using his free hand, he grabbed an arrow. Thank god, I thought that screech was a call for help, not a cry of pain. He thought as his bow collided with the demon.


Charisma nodded. "That's if I can even get a single spell right.." She muttered, taking out her book with a sigh. "We should have gone the other way." She mumbled under her breath.

Serene saw the bodies. She felt disgusted and looked up and away from the corpses on the ground. Black King looked coldly at the town in front of him. He didn't stray his eyes away from the bodies, being trained to ignore the bodies of the dead on the battlefield.
Serene looked around, getting over the fact that there were corpses. "This place...." she slowly said, not finishing her sentence

Gabriel
Gabriel mumbled and shrunk back into the shadows. The big bird was scary. It didn't even look like a bird. But the people looked angry. He hadn't done anything... He peeked outside again. He scrunched up his face and thought for a moment. The people didn't look that angry, and maybe they had food. Gabriel bit a hangnail off and groped behind him for his dagger, all the while staring at the girls in the group. "Pretty..."

Rana
"Tania? Are you OK?" Rana asked silently. The town was a gruesome spectacle, and he had felt the group wither when they saw it. Rana wrapped his arms around himself to slow his shivering, wondering if it would ever stop.

Tara too, felt disturbed at the gruesome scene, raising her left arm across her mouth and nose to cover herself from the stench of decay. She now understood just why Tekun was so frightened. "we need to keep moving.. these bodies aren't going to be smellin of daisies any time soon. We best just try and move on.." Tara stated, trying not to breathe in through her nose. this gory scene reminded her of her own tide of destruction eradicating all she knew; and she rather not stick around to find out who or what caused this mess. "C'mon tek.." She said in a low tone as she began to press forward yet again, al beit, with caution.

OoC: Don't have time to make a real post right now... sorry. I'm gonna be gone til Saturday.

Nechis is just chillin' with the group til then.

Tekun followed Tara, not looking about at the bodies of the fallen. He recognized far too many faces. Instead, he just remained silent, trailing closely behind Tara.

Eton looked around, on the ground next to a corpse in front of him lay an Iron dagger, one reatively new. He approached carefully, looking around and then picked it up.

"There seems to be more then enough weapons here. Salvage what you can." He said looking for a sheath, and found one. Strapped to the man's leg, removing it easily and quicky and fastened it to his own leg and sheathed the dagger.


"Don't beat yourself up. I saw you cast that lightning spell off back when I was heading over to help. You have talent. And....I don't know if we would have made it. The other direction is full of Wolfen. Pretty difficult to cross, that and it's further away. Though.....you may be right." Julius said. It became clear something had happened. He swallowed air and bit his lip for a moment. "Charisma, I don't like this at all."

The creature took the blow and fell back as a sickening crackign sound was heard. It remained standing and was now injured. It let out a cry of pain and then slashed at Barbas, leaving a nice wound on his arm, a cut running acorss the back of his arm.
