Hey DT what about opera.
It's a really good web browser I just downloaded it like an hour ago and It's really fast.
I have a laptop thats windows xp 2000 professional, and it only takes like 5 seconds or less to open a web page.
Plus I'm using a cell phones connection and cell phones arent really even that fast.
(Except Iphone, Helio, and blackberry)

The lack of Avast! disturbs me deeply.

Not sure if everyone will find this useful, but I sure did! If you don't like your taskbar grouping similar windows (or even if you changed the setting so it wouldn't) the HideWin is for you! I used to speak to alot of people on Windows Live Messenger. The taskbar used to group my conversations and when someone used to speak the whole thing would flash orange. When I turned it off on the right of the taskbar a little arrow appeared and I had to click it to access the other windows. So, by hiding your windows you save space on the taskbar. Also, if your doing something your not supposed to, like playing games when your supposed to be doing your homework then use HideWin to hide the window you want.

HideWin Not sure if it works on Vista but I got a friend who has this and he says it works fine.

It's obvious; with alt+tab and such you still have to scroll through a list. The point of the taskbar is to prevent this need to scroll. Therefore, this program is designed to keep the quick, simpleness the way it is while still having all your windows open.

Not only that it hides them COMPLETELY out of view. No minimizing. So therefore, no one can tell what you have open.

I got a few Programs that are useful.
• jZip - a great alternative to Winrar or 7zip. Can open ZIP, RAR, 7z, ISO, TAR, BZip2, and GZip(can make ZIP, 7z, GZip, BZip2, and TAR archives) . It has all the features of Winrar and 7Zip, but is way easier to use and a lot easier to look at. Best of all, It's free!
• PageBreeze Free HTML Editor 4.0b - Another great free program for those who want to make a site, but can't understand even the simplest HTML codes. A bit difficult to use at first, but it's worth it in the long run.
• RocketDock- Rocketdock is a popular dock software that has been around for many years and has been used by thousands. Rocketdock was designed to be very similar to Mac's dock. Allows lots of customizations and supports addons!

Rocketdock is pretty useful, but it took up too much space and would often get in the way. I ended up hiding and making it come back when you mouse over something, but that got too annoying. I would recommend this if you run out of room on your desktop.

Since this is in the coding section, I'd say Dev-C++ is an important addition.
