Fixed the Sonic Resprite:

-He's shorter;
-He have a brighter color;
-His legs have changed the position a bit.

Also fixed the Tails resprite:

-He's also shorter;
-He looks less fatty;
-His legs and arms have changed the position a bit.

...I'm really trying to do my best here guys, but Sonic characters are a bit hard to me...

Your stages has some interesting shading techniques and are really good to look at. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!

Well since looks like everyone here is confused about the stage layout, I will explain:
The battle local is the front of the shop with the four trees serving as small platforms. The main hazard here is the sea, which players can swim on.
Also, there's a chance that, on any of the two sides of the stage, a ship will appear and stay for a while, until it goes away, like the King of Red Lions in Pirate Ship stage (Brawl). The stage is pretty wide, being almost the size of Bridge of Eldin (Brawl).

Anyone has a tip on shading big surfaces? Do I have to use more shade colors or something?

Yeah, basically. The whole stage is a bit of plain terrain with 4 platforms in the middle and sea on both sides (until the ships come out).
