You forgot about how Utilt and shorthop UAir make them cry uncontrollably.

And how your recovery can stop a lot of the gimp kills they rely on for kills, so you die at like 150% every stock.

Can't be that horrible, considering Din's Fire is a small hitbox and Zelda's poor mobility keeps the match from being to one-sided. Overall, I say it's at least 55-45 in Zelda's favor, but that changes from player to player.

An aggresive kirby loses to Zelda. I am not an aggressive kirby.

In that case its more 60/40 (slight advantage for zelda), but this also comes with the longest matches you will ever play

Like for real my fights against zelda players have never lasted less than 6 minutes

Zolis showed me you can't be overly aggressive against Zelda unless you have more range. She will bring the pain. I should've known that from my own time playing her. Din is nothing to be afraid of on stage, so don't worry about that s***. I guess for Kirbs/Jiggs you just have to stay close and try to bait out a mistake to capitalize on. It's a pretty terrible matchup for both.

I'm wondering if Inhale and Final Cutter can be useful for Kirbs. Final Cutter is a pretty low/no risk move that could get her in the air to hopefully land on a Kirby break dance (dash attack) or utilt. Inhale could work for when she's trying to suck you into her aerial assault. Make it look like you're going in for an attack and pull up with B. She's a pretty big, slow target in the air. You can usually follow up after it, too. All sounds good on paper. Not sure if it translates.

I love throwing out inhales but zelda's glass slippers are a hard pill to swallow.
Gonna spend like 20 minutes trying to hit each other with bairs. The matchup is so BORING

Inhale starts sucking in further than heel, but the heel will hit you before zelda can be swallowed in most cases.
At lest in my experience. I need to test it out with someone that isnt my other hand.

I don't get why everyone thinks Zelda owns Kirby. I can understand Jiggs, but Kirby's air game is better than you think.

Zelda doesnt own kirby, its just that neither character can approach really, and kirby players on average tend to try and go for it more than zelda and end up eating zappy slippers

The best way to play the matchup for both characters is to hang back and try to punish approaches
Aprroaches will happen once every 3 minutes.
Be a bro and someone pick another character, this is hands down the most boring match up in the game

Zelda wins neutral against Kirby very easily. Her moves can punish everything Kirby can approach with (not just B-air/F-air). I don't think its a super bad mu for either, but Zelda definitely wins the MU for both.
