Just talk about an album. Say anything about it. It can be an album you listened to recently, it can be one you've liked for a long time. It could be one that you dislike, it can be one that you don't care much for at all. Just talk about an album.

this album bugged me the first time i listened to it, because i thought it was pretty lazily done. (harsh noise being rapped over with stupidass lyrics fresh out of an early 00's swag rap tape? gross.) giving it a chance afterwards, though, i found that some parts were genuinely clever and enjoyable. sadly, these parts are few and far between. most songs simply don't work at all, the noise patterns don't match up with anything else going on in the song, and are just difficult to listen to. but there are, like i mentioned earlier, a couple of legitimately great parts. the song "s***", for instance, lyrically and musically is by far the best part of the album, and also where it seems to be the most self aware. the chorus, which is sung by some woman named Jalene Goodwin, is quite pretty, while almost admonishing the listener to disregard everything said in the rest of the song, saying that everything, the women and the drugs and the partying is all, well, s***. reminds me of the weeknd.

i cant honestly recommend this album to anyone but harsh noise fans and also people that don't mind swag rap tier lyricism. even then, you'd probably be better off with something else. i liked s*** and the intro but pretty much every other track was skippable.

what about you guys? talk about some albums.

This is one of the few albums of any group that I've liked multiple songs from.

just finished listening to Tycho's album Dive.

I felt like I was listening to too much intense music (see: Exotic Animal Petting Zoo) so I decided to keep it mellow!

love the album for years, Tycho's one of the founding artists of my library when i started listening to music :)

i still appreciate past is prologue but i honestly can't stand any of tycho's other albums nowadays. dive is a snoozefest and that new one blew too. it's lame because he used to be one of my favorite artists for a while as well

To me, the purpose of his music is more to just relax and chill to, it's not for any interesting turns, just some calming, pretty tunes.

I'd like to say that this album is absolutely fantastic, and it has the ocean sound perfect.

I listen to this album pretty often, and I love it so much.

This artist's other stuff is really different, from memory, and I wasn't a fan of it, but you might be. You might even like it more than this album.
