I don't really think those situations are comparable. One is someone who is (x religion) doing something s***, the other is someone who is (x religion) doing something s*** and saying its for their religion. Catholic priests don't say they molested a child because the religion told them to. That's why peaceful Muslims are always very vocal.

That being said, I'm not defending them. The religion breeds unacceptance, judgement and hatred. It has its upsides, but they're bogged down by the overwhelming negatives.
