For me, it's not that he doesn't seem important, I agree that if he's real, he would be. I think that I don't want to waste my time on something that is only an if, when there are so many awesome things that are for sure.

For me its like, I hated going to church when I was little(Who doesn't) and I thought why should we have to bow down to someone? But anyways, I hope theres a heaven, I don't think there is one though, but IF heaven is real then it will be f*** cool.

Religion came before science. Not saying that its outdated. Some people do their spiritual/existential relief, and I used to the think the genepool would be better without them, until I found God.

There's no feeling like waking up at 5 in the morning, dressing up all formal-like, walking up to random stranger's houses and talking to them about something you don't believe in!

Alternatively, my parents know I'm irreligious, so they send "assassins of the god" to my house to "preach the good news" despite me having to listen to it for most of my life.

Sometimes pisses me off when people pull that "MAE IMMA HAVE TO GET MAH SHOTGUN ON THESE DAMN 'HOVER WITNESSES", seriously, it's the oldest trick in the damn book, just try answering the door and telling them you aren't interested. That way they won't show back up (unless you have family in it like me, then you're trapped).

No bday presents, no christmas presents, no prom, no dating (as far as they know), no coming out of the closet (or you get "disfellowshipped" for participating in a sin, then none of your family or friends in the religion can talk to you... ever) and nobody to talk to about my feelings.

Also conventions are byproducts by the bloody devil. Sitting in a cramped room, numbers in the thousands, listening to one man blab on for an hour or three, constantly repeating himself, telling you things you already "know" -____-

Nobody really knows what JW children have to put up with, do they? IIRC, all I hear associated with JW is "oh, those punks that knock on my door at 6 AM?"
