Nyx, or that Ice girl (i dont remember her name from Infamous)
(im not familiar with God of War)
Hunter (to reference the earlier Spyro games)

Edit: Add Sackboy (Little Big Planet) to that mix too

If Jak and Daxter aren't in this game I predict the sales will go 25% down. They NEED to be in there.

And another 25% if Ratchet and Clank arent in there either

For the record, the site Paul Gale Network leaked this game last November. Everything in the reveal was mentioned by him, down to the stages.

He also mentioned that Jak and Nathan Drake will be in it, and James Bond was being considered (For cross promotion).

So with that in mind, my wishlist is:
First party:
-Cole (InFamous)

Third Party:
-Snake
-Crash
-Spyro
-Altair/Ezio/Connor
-Lightning (Haters absolutely gonna hate; I want her over Cloud)

Regarding what's already there: We have Parappa and Sly, game is awesome. And those stages are incredible, I love every one of them. Especially since they come from two series, I really like that.

Game's probably gonna be good. Day one purchase, here.

If Ratchet&Clank series gets in, and it should, I'm hoping for Ratchet /w Clank.

the game looks great IMO but i can't see me getting it unless they show more things

battle system has been confirmed, honestly looks pretty retarded.
there are no health bars or stocks or percentages or anything like that, you can only kill using the game's super moves (which are basically final smashes, if you're not familiar with fighting game terminology), and they are always one hit kills. the game is always set to time mode, and you must kill the most people (which again you can only do with final smashes) and die the least deaths in that time limit.

I agree with you completely.

I honestly hope they change the battle system gets changed or I may not buy this.

Overall it looks like the game needs a lot of work done. Especially system wise.

This is not true. Devs confirmed stock is in it, just not in this build.

Personally, I see no problem with this engine. It's different, but different =/= bad. It's pretty much the same thing as Dissidia, really - Hit your opponent with weaker attacks to prepare for an attack that can kill them. It isn't Smash, but really, who cares?

Honestly, it really looks like we'll have to play it before we judge it. It looks kinda stupid when I watch it, but I feel like I'll enjoy playing it.

Personally I like the way it's headed, but the current build is a little meh. I'm not going to rip on it though because they way they made the battle system is almost identical to the way I designed some of my characters and story plots for my writing. That being take an already existing concept, in this case Smash Bros., and turn it into something original.

Personally though I'm not going to put too many hopes or complaints in since I don't even have a PS3 anyways. :/

Well, I rather quite like the way that stages are a combination of multiple franchises. I dunno, I feel like it adds more interactivity within the crossover itself. Half the fun of a crossover is seeing how one side responds to the other. (And come on! Patapons taking over the God of War Universe? I think that is pretty hilarious!)

One thing I don't like though is the way the characters glow. It stops them from feeling like they are taking part in the area itself and it looks a wee bit tacky.

As for the gameplay, (Or terms of victory.) its not that unheard of.
In Shrek Super Slam the point of the game was to beat up the opposition which builds up your your super slam meter. Like this game, you gotta use their super slam to win the game. You've either got to super slam the most within a set time limit, or super slam a certain number of times before anybody else. (If I properly recall.) It wasn't so bad. I actually found it pretty fun.

Of course, apart from that the two are very much different. Shrek Super Slam was more of a 3d topdown fighter with combo buttons with the ability to pick up and toss around your foes. And of course, they say that this game (I'm calling it 'this game' because the real name is a bit of a mouthful.) is going to give each character multiple super moves at different stages. (I'm not quite sure how thats going to work out with the set term of victory. But time will tell.)

All in all, I think it could work out quite nicely.

The design is bad enough that I feel confident that it will not be a very good game unless they change a lot.

Waiting to play it is a valid argument in many cases, but when a game presents itself as the design equivalent of a giant s*** taken directly on my face I feel safe in not wanting to pay money to try it.
