Let me just say I've loved this series for a long time now, and I'm really surprised that an anime is coming for this series again. Tbh I expected just a series of OVA's.

Because this series is too good to rush, jk. Iunno yet mane personally as long as the coming chapters keep getting better then I'm fine. I made a mistake binge reading Berserk over the summer two years ago and now I'm at the point where I find it hard to take the series off of my mind.

Always hyped for revivals of old animes, especially with great shows like Berserk. Hopefully this new series isn't trash, like what happened with Rurouni Kenshin's New Kyoto Arc.

I can honestly say for the first time in a while I'm actually hyped for an anime.

I did not expect this to happen, pretty good stuff.

the CG looks like a video game but it's the only non-golden age stuff we've ever had so i can't help but be extremely excited
looks like it's going to ignore the lost children arc and just go straight to tower of conviction

The content is probably too much for the Anime to handle I'm assuming which doesn't make sense due to the stuff upcoming only gets worse.

So is this on an episode basis or movies like the latest ones ?

Episode basis I'd assume, but it might get cut up into different seasons if the trailer quality is to go by anything.

i really like the lost children arc why isn't that shown

same for black swordsman not being shown? i know it's where guts is at it's edgiest but it still is a big chunk of his character's development post eclipse
