really don't see how you think just because you get a controller with different decals it will change the games it works on

They meant one of the Classic Controllers designed like a GC controller that are being made

The gamecube adapter only works with smash bros, but the wii u fight pad controller is shaped just like a gc controller and works with every wii u/wii game & virtual console. All because of the lack of one button.

What's the difference between this:

And this:

They're both wired controllers that work with all wii/wii u games, obviously the one below is closer to the gamecube with the same c-stick and buttons, but they both do the same thing and are nintendo licensed, and the same price so which one would be better?

If you try putting on a Skylanders / Disney Infinity figure when you're in Smash the game tells you that, "This amiibo is not compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U". I figure the same would happen with the Pokemon Rumble U figures.

Dunno when you try to place an amiibo in that game though.

I don't think those rumble toys even count as Amiibos tbh. They were released before the Amiibo platform was officially announced. So I wouldn't count on any future games really supporting those figures.

Here's hoping the Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Greninja and Lucario Amiibos will offer content in ORAS/XY though. Maybe the pokémons with their Smash moveset as promo pokémon.
