How any of you guys play the game? I just started this week, but I already racked 12 hours into it.

I'm thinking about making a TF2 server for MG, anyone interested?

I really want to try a more technical class, but I always end up as a Heavy or a Demoman, any hints on Engineer or Spy?

Spy, I understand but how can it be so hard to f*** up an Engineer? Plant a turret, plant a dispenser and keep hitting both of them until you win.

For bonus points, plant a teleporter into the enemy base.

Which will never be used by other people, obviously.

Unless you're good, only about 10 teleports at most. My record is around 60 in one life while playing ctf_turbine

It's actually remarkably balanced.

I love this game, but I wish someone would buy my crates

Comp TF2 is pretty hardcore shiz man. But TF2 is loads of fun.
Got this game last summer, and ever since TF2 was F2P everyone in my favorite servers sucked D:<

Spy, I understand but how can it be so hard to f#%$& up an Engineer? Plant a turret, plant a dispenser and keep hitting both of them until you win.

Actually Engineer takes a lot of skill :/ (at least not in pubs where you literally just turtle until level 3 dispenser/sentry and wait for players to run into you) Area denial, and most of the time vs good players or in lobbies or whatever you actually have to think and be smart.

Also, look up CommFT's Moments of Glory for pure TF2 awesumness.

Yeh but if you just turtle till level 3 and then haul into position you're still super f*** and usually f*** over your team as well.
In traditional 6v6 of 9v9 highlander your plan pretty much makes it 5v6 or 8v9 until you actually get your level 3 sentry in which case a well coordinated team will be able to take out your sentry in a few seconds.

Demoman stickies blow your s*** up hardcore, as do anyone with uber. I don't really play engie in tf2lobby that much but there's a huge difference between how people play against engies in pug and pub.
