that sounds awesome! what is the event about?

My university is merging with another university in order to provide more (and better) positions and more options to grow for staff members and for students of both universities to work together and exchange info and what not. Their contacts abroad are now shared as well meaning that students that have to go study abroad (like me next year) have more options.

The paperwork was finished yesterday and there was an opportunity for students to ask about the design of the new university which I attended alongside the other cartoonists. We had to use specific quotes from the interview to make cartoons. The cartoons are going to be presented the staff members 'to provide information through differennt media and forms'.

It was a pretty difficult task to be honest and I was actually quite hesitant to hand in my work because I was unsure about it, so I ended up making two cartoons. When I handed in the work today it was received extremely well though which was nice, and because I made two cartoons they offered to pay me double which I have to say caught me off guard but more money is never a bad thing to me.

Lesson learned:

Next time, make 100 comics and be rich

also i read a little bit of jojo's bizarre adventure. i've been reading jojo a lot more lately, trying to catch up with everyone else asap

yesterday i went to dinner. it was pretty great! when they were delivering our appetiser the person stumbled and got a bit of it on the table, so they said they'd get us another. which is totally fine since it's finger food anyways and the table was cleaned. plus, it was only a little!
