(( The demons were overconfident, and look where they ended up, being chased away by an old man ))

Sed's elbow maneuvered into the path of the blow, limiting the damage the blow could do to his chest as he hit the ground with a cough. He didn't allow Sho to finish as he launched himself into a sitting position, stabbing at Sho's stomach.

Sho smacked the rapier out of the way of his stomach. The only thing that the sword stabbed was air next to Sho. With the attack being deflected, it left Sed open for an attack. With that being very well known by Sho, he kicked Sed hard in the chin, knocking him on his back.

"You are far tooooooo hasty for your oooown good. If this was a real duel, you'd have been stabbed through the throat or neeeeeck. Slooooow down, stuuudy your enemy. Explooooit their mistakes and stttrrriike." Sho said as he starred at Sed. "Sometimes hastineessss will only leeead to a hasty death."

What appeared to be a glint passed through Sed's eyes, for just a moment, suddenly, he shot up, hand wide open as he fired a torso sized fireball at Sho, using the opportunity to jump backwards to put some distance between himself and his elderly opponent.

Sho ran forward at the fire ball and the slid underneath it and the jumped up as he sprang forward into the air and landed on his feet. The distance was now about the same as when they started.

"Thhaaat is the best manuver you've done all this session."

Sed remained silent, reeling his rapier back as he dashed towards Sho, stretching his free hand out towards him, making it seem like he was using a clumsy stance with many openings. A green glow surrounded the rapier, as what appeared to be dust formed around his free hand.

"Deception. You are maaaaking it far to obvious, I atttacck and you intend to hiiit with magic." Sho said. "Your sword gives you away."

Sho went into his stance again and waited to see what ced was going to do.

Sed sliced the air in front of him with his rapier, sending a wave of razorsharp wind into Sho's direction, as a shield of stone formed around Sed's free arm, preparing for any attack Sho might execute in response.

"MAGIC!" Sho shouted in anger and moved his arm across and disapated the wind magic attack. He then slammed his palm into the ground and made the ground beneath Ced grow unbelievably soft. He sank right into it, up to his waist and then the ground hardened. "Leeeeet me know when your ready to actuallly use a raiper and nooooot MAgic!!" Sho said and made his raiper disapear. "Traaaining is oooover..for now."

Ali looked up from her book at the elderly man's outburst. She was pleased with herself she had learned two spells songs one based on fog and the other a rain song, she was still struggling with a lightning song, but she would forget about it for now. She put her spell book away into her pack and got up, she stepped into the melting slush that remained of the earlier snowstorm. She stretched then looked around and said "So, now what?"

Sed struggled against the hard ground, without much luck as he cursed loudly, swinging his rapier wildly in an attempt to get free. Suddenly, he calmed, placing his hand on the ground, a blinding light surrounding his hand, accompanied by an ear popping explosion, sending him propelling out of the earth, grunting as he landed on his back, crawling back to his feet.

"Ifff....you had waited, I would have softened the ground Sho said and approached Ali. "Allli, what will you do now?"

Sed tilted his head as Sho turned his attention to Ali, growling silently as he suddenly dashed at Sho, bodyslamming into him. "Who's overconfident now!?" This was definately not the timid, humble Sed from before.
