Serene smiled faintly, and looked around for a vacant room. She still held Eton's waist tightly, not wanting to let go. Nestling her head against him, she pointed to a room with an open door. "That one looks as if no one is there, let's head there." she whispered softly to him. She pulled him along with her as she moved towards the room.

J settled himself alongside the wagon, moving along with it. He untied his bandanna and began to crudely clean the blood staining his mallet. Once he finished, he tied the bandanna around the shaft of the mallet, keeping the blood from rubbing off on his body. He ran a hand through his shaggy, brown mullet and sighed.

Leon remembered a fimiliar name, but wouldn't speak it alloud. He closed his eyes. "Adélaïde." he muttered. "It's......ok." He found himself overcome with an odd feeling, he wasn't sure what to call it, but it felt nostalgic, reminded him of something, it felt foreign to him.

-------------------

The cleric looked at Rana's arm and held a stave over him, it glowed a bright serene blue. After a few seconds, he wrapped Rana's arm in a bandage and put it in a sling.

"Becareful in the future, and forgive Bruno, he's a bit of an oaf and doesn't think. Also, give your arm about two days and it should be good as new. Lucky you you were here."
-----------------------------

"Quite good with your mallet." Lot said to J walking besides him. "Where'd you learn to handle it."

J grinned as Lot asked. "My dear ol' father taught me to be one with the wilderness when I was young. He taught me about survival and such. On that list of things to teach was how to be a wild man, in both combat and life." J stopped to take a breath and chuckle a bit, but he became serious after a few seconds. "As a man who lives off the Earth in the wilds, I had to know how to protect myself. However, I only learned half of my skills from my father, which was what I showed with the mallet. I also learned my grappling skills from a large man I met in a pub. I more or less ended up like him, wandering the land for love, and he left me with this strange fascination of romance novels." he chuckled again. "Hope I didn't tell you too much."

Tania knelt on the ground holding Rana's hand, he mumbled something inaudible, then returned to his state of unconsciousness. The cleric arrived an healed Rana's arm as well as he could, he seemed to have reawakened through the healing, for the cleric was giving him instructions. "Also, give your arm about two days and it should be good as new. Lucky you you were here."

"Two days?"
she thought worriedly to herself, she could not imagine herself staying for another day in the deathtrap disguised as an inn. Tania helped him up making sure not to touch the arm that had been just healed. "Are you alright?" she asked filled with concern. "Would you like to go to your room? Or perhaps the gardens for fresh air? Or maybe the kitchens?" she rambled.

Rana stared at Tania. "I'll... Lie down." He tried to focus. His head was sore and felt like it was bleeding, but when he reached up with his good arm there was nothing. "I think... I'll be fine." The corners of his lips curled up, then down. He leaned against Tania, sure he wouldn't be able to walk. "We needed to leave... Needed a safer place." He reached up again to touch his head where it had been struck.

She shifted her weight to help her support Rana and she led him towards his room. All the while she beat herself up for not listening to Rana when he had told them earlier that they should have left the inn, and she was willing to leave as well...but she was not about to blame Tekun, the child was tired, they needed to have stayed. She cursed her luck. When Rana spoke it was like he had read her mind, though she knew he hadn't for she didn't sense it herself. Standing in front of the door to his room, she kicked open the door gently and helped him onto his bed, she looked around the room. She felt very awkward it was very, very unladylike for a young woman such as herself to be in a room with a young man unchaperoned. "Do you need me to leave while you get your rest" she asked.

-----

Anna watched the scene unfold and it wasn't until a few minutes after that they had left did she remember Tekun's request. She quickly headed down the hall after them, though she didn't bother to shout out, not wanting to startle or bother anyone. She thought she saw Tania enter a room with Rana but she wasn't sure which one, she'd sighed, giving up. She turned away from the hall and headed for the library, where she picked up where she left off in her book that she was reading.

"I see." Lot said. " My ol pa was an ex solider for Maeghar. Tought me how to fight. Did a damn good job. Problem was, never focused on group attacks." he said chuckling. "He also had a knack for romance novels, rubbed off on meh."

He approached the caravan and entered it, sat down and began reading his novel again.

J stood still as the wagon moved on ahead. He thought for a second about what he was going to do when he reached the next port town. Would he stay there and abandon being with the caravan, or would he continue along with them. He thought deeply, unaware of the wagon's movement ahead of him. "Wasn't there somebody I was planning on meeting in the port..." he muttered, looking up to see the wagon far ahead. "s***!"

Euphemia pulled her white robe on. It was slightly whiter than it was after the battle, and had a couple bloodstains around it. She hoped it wasn't her blood. "Rourky, mind handing me back the sword?" she asked the hawk without turning to him.
He acknowledged her request and waddled down to her, dropping off the linen covered sword.
She picked it up and held it close to her chest once again. It was well crafted and was perfectly detailed, just the kind of sword she liked to have.

Rustling sounded off in the bushes behind her. Euphemia turned around to see an old woman walk towards her. "What do you want?" she asked, slightly frightened. She gripped her knife in her sleeve.

"Drop the knife." the woman told her. "I'm only here to ask you a question."

Euphemia dropped her knife. "What is it" she asked, stepping away.

"You wish to meet up with someone I see? I could teleport you to a place close to him." the woman replied.
"Well...okay I guess..." Euphemia replied, bringing Rourky up upon her shoulder. "Make it quick though."

The woman nodded and muttered something, forming a circle under Euphemia. A bright light shone around her, and as it dimmed, she found herself in a town not too far from the coast.

Euphemia fell to her knees, throwing up on the ground before her. She wiped her mouth with her sleeve. "At least it isn't blood..." she mumbled, pulling herself up.

Rana sighed. His head was throbbing but the dizziness was fading. "Do... Whatever you'd like to." He tried to smile. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly. He would be fine with rest, but he was worried still for Tania.

Lex sighed. "You mean Preston? I'm sure he's still skulking around, somewhere. It's better to just let him hide and get back to our own lives." Adélaïde perked up and stood beside Lex. They both began marching in place, Lex singing horribly as Adélaïde played her flute. "On we gooo, deep mystery awaits those who seeeek it's woooondeeerrrr!! I'll let you lead the way, Leon." They continued to dance in place.

"That little rat is hiding here yet." Leon said and clenched his teeth as he listened to Lex's singing. "Alright alright, we're going we're going. Just stop singing." He said turning around to head out of the inn. This experience was certainly an interesting one, it made him learn more about himself, and also gave him and idea about Lex. He was hiding something, a former assassin, perhaps hiding.
---------------------

The old man stopped the convoy upon hearing the loud cuss. "Heh." he muttered knowing that J had just realized they had left without him. There was a town not too far ahead, a trading center of the west. They would stop there.

--------

A armored looking man approached Euphemia. He stood about 5,6 and wore a chainmail like shirt with a pair of armored greeves. "You alright?" He asked her. His accent sounded somewhat british. "That new form of transportation tends to take out alot of a person." The town was a bussling center of activity, it was uncommon yet to see people suddenly appear in the town square like that, but no one paid any mind, no body except the guards.

J ran after the wagon, he didn't to be left without that group, it was an easy ticket to the city. If he wasn't with them it would be more dangerous, given that bandits attacked in groups. Catching up with the wagon, J stood alongside it, and continued to walk along with it. "You don't have to worry much longer." he began to tell the geezer. "Once we reach the city, you'll probably be able to ditch me...that is what you want, huh?"
_________

Euphemia smiled politely at the man. "Thanks." she told him. "It's nice to see a strong man look out for a vestal maiden these days, I don't really get much of that anymore." She relaxed the knife in her hand under her sleeve, he was no threat to her yet.
Rourky stared at the guard with a piercing gaze. He was weary of the man's weapons and armor, and was suspicious, like he usually was.
"Ignore my hawk, he doesn't like strange people, and I guess your accent startled him."

OOC: In an attempt to increase the rp activity, Im fast fowarding the rp by one day. No one has an excuse not to post.

DAY 6 Begins.

Tekun awoke in the inn room, lying in the bed Anna had him sleep in. He was unsure of where anybody was. He slowly came around, looking around, seeing who else was in the room as he rubbed one of his eyes. "Anna?" He said alloud wondering he'd get a response.
------------------
Rana had spent the night in the hallway keeping watching, though he did not believe the man whom he discussed their fate with, he kept watch only for Tania's sake. That night he had seen a shady looking man, dressed like a normal person, but there was definently an aura about him that made someone feel uneasy. It was as if he was waiting for the opportunity to do something, but it never arose. Eventually he just left and never returned. Morning came, the Inn was dead, finally "Safe." By Tania and Rana's standards. All ruffians had departed, the only remaining people in the inn were merchants, employees and simple travelers.
--------------------

Leon had led the group out of the rundown inn without incident and traveled all through the night without pause. A hope to get as far away from the place as possible. Eventually they found themselves in a town, less then a day's journey from the border of Kzsea.
--------------------

Julius awoke in a seperate inn room. Things had been hectic before, but now everything seemed resolved. He put on his usual clothing and stepped out of the inn, hoping to see if Charisma and Alice.
----------

Eton awoke next to Serene in bed. His hair was no longer in a pony tail, instead it was just as it would be. He wasn't sure exactly what to think of the night before but it was definently something. He rolled out of bed and began dressing himself, starting with his pants and then redoing his ponytail. He looked over to Serene, she was still asleep, a content smile on her face. Eton decided he'd wait until she woke up.
----------------

The caravan arrived by morning, everyone but the old man got sleep. The night came and went without any incident. Tommorow would bring another day as they rode into a port town.

Lex and Adélaïde stopped tossing their walnuts back and forth and shifted the blue hats they had acquired.

"I'm sure glad we went on that overnight walnut farm adventure." He exclaimed, cracking open the highly defensive nut. "We may have even learned something from the entire experience, although I can't quite remember what it is. Oh well, I feel the need to rummage through random people's things. Shall we raid a house?"

Adélaïde grabbed Lex's pinky finger and wrenched it backward. "Such manners you have learned on the road, do away with them now."

He whined uncomfortably. "Alright, alright..." She released him and stood there, eying his movements.

J left the caravan and walked through the town until he spotted a bar. He grinned and waltzed in, taking a seat at the front bar. He dropped the mallet to the floor and slammed his palms upon the counter. "Quick!" He roared "A keg! I'm mighty thirsty!" He wondered if his muscles would attract attention. In the last bar he entered, he caused an uproar that ended up in a weightlifting contest, he won of course.
____________

Euphemia woke up in an alleyway, with a blanket covering her body. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, grabbing the sword as well. Rourky perched upon her shoulder as she stood up. "I bet J is here by now...If I remember his habits, he is most likely in a bar..." She told herself, exiting the alleyway and looking around the area for a bar.
