POKEMON: DYSTOPIAN DIMENSION - Reprogrammed

Oh, hello again. Lemme cut to the chase. I wanted to restart PDD because I now have the ability to make it a whole lot better and figured the best course of action was a clean slate.




Story TL;DR: New VR Pokemon game, you start playing and it's great, glitch prevents you from leaving the game, must carry on without going insane.









If you were in PDD1, the info above should be familiar. However, I did make some changes, so be sure to read them

Trainer Name: Oliver Reid
Trainer Appearance: Oliver is small in stature, his height just under the average for his age. His face is somewhat gaunt, with frosty blue eyes peering out from beneath his perpetually lowered eyebrows. The boy keeps his straight, blonde hair slicked back, flared at the nape. One particularly unruly lock running from his hairline to the top of his head can usually be seen sticking out a bit, though. Oliver wears a custom fitted, light grey double-breasted suit with slightly-too-large shoulder pads over a black undershirt, with dress shoes and a white tie.
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Starter Pokémon: Murkrow
- Nature: Naughty
- Ability: Prankster
- Moves: Astonish, Peck, Pursuit, Swagger
Personality: Oliver is your typical snobby rich kid. He’s a bit of a brat and becomes very disagreeable when he doesn’t get his way. Ruthless, he isn’t afraid to play dirty, but this is often offset by his immense pride. Having his ego bruised hurts more than anything, so the boy always does his best to look good in front of others. As a result, he is liable to belittle those around him.
Backstory: Oliver is the the son of a wealthy entrepreneur and her husband, both of whom dote on him to an almost ludicrous degree. The boy was very sickly during his early childhood, unwilling to leave his home unless absolutely necessary. His health has improved since then, but it is still rare for him to venture out. His education was delivered solely through online private tutoring. Oliver’s parents, being filthy millennials, have instilled in him a love for Pokémon games.
Fun Fact: Oliver carries around a pocket watch, a family heirloom. He values it above all his other possessions.

Trainer Name: Irene Rhodes
Trainer Appearance: Two thick black pigtails held by big fuzzy white hairties begin at the top of Irene. As you go down you get big green eyes on a quizzitive face. She's scrawny and not very tall yet despite her age, but carries herself with dignity. She wears a tank top with a light to dark blue gradient over a black undershirt with sleeves and baggy blue cargo jeans. She has pink and black sneakers and fingerless gloves, and a black satchel to carry her things.
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Starter Pokemon: Mawile
- Nature: Jolly
- Ability: Intimidate
- Moves: Fairy Wind, Astonish, Fake Tears, Power-Up Pauwnch
Personality: Inquizzitive, and a bit of a rule-breaker, Irene naturally looks for loopholes and weaknesses in anything she does. She doesn't like waiting for others and will fiercely try to out do anyone that she thinks is out pacing her. Weird or unusual things intrigue her and she'll more then willing to follow them even if it will obviously lead to trouble.
Backstory: It's not like Irene has had a long life full of adventure and meaningful life lessons. She's just a gamer girl with gamer parents so she grew up with old games as well as new. These games inspired her, making her what to play many games and learn their stories. In the process of playing them to unlock all the collectibles and endings she would occasionally find glitches. At first she was upset, but she quickly learned finding and using glitches was just as fun as playing a game normally and could even bring new life into games she already 100%'d. Eventually she began posting internet videos of her finding a multitude of unknown glitches in a great many games, and was noticed by the companies that made them. For the past two years, off and on, she'd would be recruited by these companies as a beta tester and bug hunter, however never Nintendo, or it's child companies. Upon hearing of Pokemon Dimensions she signed up immediately to find glitches and prove how valuable she could be to them. Of course now there has been a glitch like even she couldn't imagine, but that only inspires her conference there must be many more glitches just waiting to be found.
Fun Fact: Irene collects many things, mainly cards from tcgs, mainly looking for misprints.

Trainer Name: Matthew Yin
Trainer Appearance: Pretty much, Matthew looks like some kind of Asian hipster. He's average height and somewhat thin. His bangs very nearly cover his dark brown eyes even though he sweeps them to the side, and to add to that his hair is dyed blue. (His father lets him get away with it, but his mother would freak out. That's part of why he did it). He pretends he doesn't care about his appearance but actually is trying to pull off the 'cool but not trying too hard' look, wearing a light grey hoodie with a white cloud design, skinny jeans, and black converse shoes.
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Starter Pokemon: Shiny Wingull (named Melon), Lonely Nature, Keen Eye
Moves: Growl, Water Gun, Supersonic
Personality: Matthew gives off the impression of a standard 'edgy teenager,' but in all honesty he's just a socially awkward introvert. Preferring solitude, Matthew will avoid human interaction unless absolutely necessary, and even then will only speak when spoken to and reply with grunts or sentences that are at most five words. He feels most comfortable playing a game by himself. If forced into a group situation he will often take control silently, not because of some innate tendency towards leadership, but simply because he doesn't trust other people and likes things to be done his own way. The notion of getting help from others is entirely foreign to him, and he feels uncomfortable being anything less than self-sufficient.
He can be a bit annoying with how determined he is to be left alone. Matthew doesn't exactly see other people as below him, but simply doesn't like having to deal with them. Games are a lot less complicated.
Backstory: Ever since Matthew was a young age, his parents bickered constantly and, when he was eight, they divorced. He was then shuffled back and forth every month between his nervous father and his stern mother. While with his father, he was mostly left to his own devices and given a fairly generous allowance. With his mother, the rules were stricter. He dedicated his time to playing games instead of socializing, and Pokemon has been one of the few constants since his childhood.
It just so happened that this month he was with his father, who had to go on a business trip to Japan and decided to take Matthew along with him. While his father was in meetings, he let Matthew buy the new Pokemon game and try it out.
Fun Fact: haha what an edgelord His mom made him take some martial arts classes for self-defense when he was younger, but eventually he managed to convince her to let him off. He still remembers some of it, but he's also got no muscle mass.
He had to soft-reset the game multiple times in order to get his Wingull. He's very fond of shinies but usually too lazy to try to get them. (In this case, though, he had a lot of time to kill while his dad was at work.)

Both accepted. With 4 characters and KP's whenever he gets around to remaking Roul/a new character, we'll be able to start. But, I will wait for KP to make his character, so anybody who still wants to join can join

Trainer Name: Roulette
Trainer Appearance: Long black hair and brown eyes with heavy eyeshadow. Usually wears a black jacket or blazer with black track pants. Rounded face with bubbly eyes.
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Starter Pokemon (Any first stage Pokemon (Ex. Starly, Litleo, Seedot, Pichu). Include nature and ability): Dratini with a lonely nature and marvel scale ability.
Personality: Happy and positive, but with a bit of a dark sense of humor. Easily makes friends with any person or pokemon.
Backstory: Roul has played Pokemon for ages, and was once grand champion of her country. She has a great knowledge of Pokemon related information that helps her be a mentor to many new players.
Fun Fact: Roul does nothing but play pokemon. She has memorized the layout of her studio apartment so that she can eat and stuff without logging out. She plans to play without logging out a single time, occasionally getting up to make herself a sandwich or something.

Close to being accepted, but the one thing is that I need you to specify what nature Dratini has. Also, for the ability, Dratini's ability is Marvel Scale (Multiscale as a Dragonite)

Trainer Appearance: He's tall, with close-cropped black hair and dark blue eyes. A black hat sits backward on his head, making his hair flow back. He wears a black and blue hoodie with a picture of a bow. He has black pants and black and blue shoes. A necklace with a small sapphire is hung around his neck.

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Starter Pokemon: Beldum, Clear Body ability, Rash nature

Personality: A lot can be said of Phoenix Woods, but at the very least he's protective and amusing. Of course he's also trusting, wise and anticipative, but they're often slightly tainted by a mindset of being blunt as well. His protectiveness though, this is what he's often adored for. Friends usually count on this and his soft nature whenever they need cheering up.

Backstory: He was born into a wealthy family which were happy at first, but soon crumbled when he was young. His father was a Pokemon lover himself, and didn't like the life he was living at home. He slipped out one night, when Phoenix was three, leaving his wife to take care of their two children. Phoenix and his twin brother Miles were very close growing up, and still are to this day. They are identical down to the last hair on their head,

Fun Fact: He suspects he has psychic abilities, and his favorite are steel and psychic.
