It's going to be frank west, because of the color on the artwork.

Excpet there is nothing to speculate because Frank is confirmed as Nova's partner. Because of the zombie thing 'n all.

I think Capcom does that to give a little compensations for the absence of the characters in question, or they just considered it fitting.

In TGS, Gametrailers had an interview with Ryota, as he did not mention any DLC characters but did mentioned DLC costumes and a DLC mode where as he said "Change the way you will play the game".Any speculations on what could this mode be?

Change the way? Perhaps it could be like that overhead feature in Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition?



Don't get me wrong, but I thought all the new content in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was supposed to be DLC for the original, and they just ended up throwing it all on a new version because of the disasters in Japan? Wouldn't that mean that Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Frank West etc. etc. would've been the DLC? I believe the game developers stated that 'there would be DLC, but not too much' (citation needed though).

Yeah, they said what happened in Japan was the reason why they made it onto disk originally. DLC got delayed, they came up with new ideas and basically said "f*** it".

They also said Ultimate was going to have MORE characters but they wanted to get it out before Holiday... So expect DLC chars.

Not being a rehash is unthinkable.

If you watched the angry joeshow interview with Seth killian about Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Seth just said it only just tipped off the plans for DLC just by a bit but not too severely. He said that either "Get Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Now" or "Wait for a couple of months to release the DLC" so he decided that maybe we wanted it now. He said the reason its on a disc is because as he referred to it as a "One-time only" way of having to deliver capcom DLC... Which i totally call it s*** because of what happened to Street Fighter 4:

If there is going to be more DLC, I'd be looking forward to it, I won't hold my breath though.

Also, I'm really anxious when they are going to reveal the trailer of Frank West and Nova (mostly Frank). I wonder if Super Skrull will also use the "You should stick to fighting zombies!" line against Frank. I hope he gets his voice actor from Tatsunoko versus Capcom again in MvC3.

No, not wrong. Perhaps different stories from different capcom employee's; someone definitely said that they had DLC delayed because of Japan's problems, and that they continued to work on more before they had the other stuff out, which is why they made a new version of the game. I don't know what this "wrong" thing you speak of is.

Still, as Squid Combat said, The game hasn't been released for a year and making another version of the game isn't just fair. Plus, Delayed DLC for Marvel vs capcom 3 would be better than having to split the MVC3 community by releasing another game of the same thing but just with more content
