While it will probably be a fest of action and impressive CGI, it may not be the best film. Let's hope Snyder knows what he's doing.

I dunno, I criticized Battle: LA when I first saw the commercial for being a big budget CGI war snooze fest with no redeeming qualities.

And then I heard it was a petty piece of trash and I knew I was right.

Yeah, this film isn't really my cup of tea.

I hate Snyder's stylized movies. Maybe it's just that I'm a fan of dialogue moreso than balls to the wall action (Yes, I'm a foreign film fan).

Hipster.

But yeah, I can't really see myself enjoying this. I guess that some people will never understand that movies that avoid a plot and go with all-out action can actually be not so entertaining, sometimes to the point where even a 5-year-old kid would get bored or just realize the movie makes no sense.

Judging by the reviews on metacritic, it's pretty bad, only one is positive; Rest are average or below.

It is asinine to think that just because a person enjoys a movie for its artistic base and heavy, complex dialogue that he is a hipster.
If this is true, then I am a hipster for merely saying I hate every mainstream action movie because I find them to be shallow excuses to throw in as much CGI and slow motion effects as possible in order to make up for a generic script.
And god forbid I stray away from anything made in Hollywood!
If it isn't filled with crude humor or gory depictions of mutilated limbs then I must be a hipster!
