As u ppl should no,this topic is about a show called cardcaptors. This is a rlly old show so they dont show it on tv anymore, but u can still watch it on youtube. If u dont know anything about this show, just watch it on youtube from episode 1 and u will understand it..........

and for those who arent rlly interested in it, just watch it bcuz trust me,
this is a REALLY GREAT show...........

I remember the English version, they pronounce Sakura wrong and changed the title.

Go watch Cardcaptor Sakura the original Jap version. Muuch better. I mean puh-lease. Syaoran a cardcaptor? 'Sif. Everyone knows that Sakura is the right-ful one.

Oh right, that butchered 'American' CCS...I've only heard of it but never watched it myself.

I love CCS! I seriously have a Clow Book replica with all the cards.

I attempted to watch Cardcaptors. I screamed after seeing the scene of her capturing Fly. Seriously, what's with that lame transformation sequence!?


I make my own. Although I'm looking for a nice thick book to butcher to turn into the Clow Book. Then another one to make into the Sakura Book. That reminds me, gotta get more cardboard for the Sakura cards.

Actually there is.
Cardcaptors was changed significantly. I can make a whole list but I'll just type the key points.
1. Li Syaoran was upped to the status of Cardcaptor to make the show more appealing to both genders.
2. Alot of episodes were cut and the order of show had changed. Episode 1 of Cardcaptors was actually Episode 8 in Cardcaptor Sakura
3. All of the scenes that show Li blushing when seeing Yukito were heavily edited.
4. The Un-named card (Episode 70) was edited to make it "The Hope" which caused some confusion during the second film.
5. Names were changed significantly and Sakura's name is pronounced incorrectly. Sakura was actually going to be re-named to Nikki but Nelvana was lazy and didn't want to edit scenes where Sakura writes her name on the cards.

Yuh huh. It is a big deal. Just you try and watch the original Jap and compare it to the lame kiddie dubbed version. But, if you want to watch it in english so bad, I believe that Nelvana released the uncut version on DVD. So yeah, go youtube it or something. It goes under the name of "Cardcaptor Sakura", ironic really since that's the same name as the awesome original Jap.

Open two windows and watch each version side by side

The English one would end twice as fast since they cut out all the scenes that offend c*** who don't want their balls dropping.
