FL Studio is one of the world's most popular and exciting music production systems. Everything you need in one package to compose, arrange, record, edit, mix and master professional quality music.

I used FL Studio for a looong time, but now that I've moved on to Ableton and, more often now, Logic Pro, I honestly can't go back to it. It has a lot of oddities to it that I feel hold it back, plus the fact that it's Windows exclusive makes it hard for me to be willing to use it when I have to switch between Mac (laptop)/PC (desktop) frequently. Not to mention, Logic Pro has some amazing instruments (which are being used for SSF2~).

This was the last song I finished composing in FL Studio, I should probably go back to it now that I have a far better handle on technical stuff, but I've got too much on my plate at the moment.

There are other applications that are greater than FL Studio like QBase.

Ableton and FL do both the same thing, make music. The difference is how they go they go abaut it. Each one has its strong points and each one has its weaknesses, there both great tools, its the user that makes them shine or not.

I've always liked FL studio, it's rather simple in comparison to other programs.
What you really need to understand is the library of sounds, the piano roll, and the sequencer-

It's really cool if you work with loops and samples, but now I play my own instruments so I moved on to Mixcraft.
