The movesets kinda reflect the characters in that way. Dedede relies on his minions way more than Bowser does.

Yes but Bowsers would work completely different, as in they'd be large slow moving fireballs that explode on contact.

It would be like comparing Link's arrows, to Pit's. Same general concept, but completely different in appearance and function.

I simply want it because its more fitting to his game appearances, and to give him a better projectile.

Because, y'know, everyone's cool with having three different versions of a laser pistol. Nobody would get upset over three different versions of a fireball.

Thats just the thing though, Bowser's is nothing like Mario and Luigi's, so if you can look past the fact that they are from the same series, its not a clone. It could be different further if Bowser could aim them like in the games, if they did that, would you accept them then?

a slow moving fireball would be fine but there's no reason to give it to bowser because his neutral special is good as is

Okay then, for speculated moveset changes, how about they replace Mario's F.L.U.D.D. with the Star Spin from Galaxy, and bring back his old DAir?

F.L.U.D.D. is still going to be in the game because they're going to announce Super Mario Sunshine 2

I feel as if the Luigi Cyclone is going to be dair-ed in exchange for the Poltergust 5000. (The Poltergust 4000 and Super Poltergust 3001 were soo much better. THEY WAS RIDEABLE)

I have a speculation about Link's Final Smash: The finishing blow of Triforce Slash, being replaced by the Skyward Strike from Skyward Sword.

Link creating beams/mystical projectiles with his sword has been a feature present in many of the old(er) Zelda games, and it has never been incorporated into Smash Link, so I doubt they'll do that this time around.

Well i just figured since they most likely will be using the SS incarnation of Link, how much can they really change him asthetically? I mean, they changed his Boomerang, Bow, and Bombs all for the sake of appearing as their Twilight Princess versions. Can they do the same for SS? If i recall correctly, theres no Boomerang in SS.

Maybe he'll go back to the old one from Melee? Or have it replaced with the Beetle?

I doubt they'll replace it with the Beetle to be completely honest, given how different the Bettle is from all incarnations of the boomerang/a boomerang in general.

The 'item-updates' were mostly aesthetical (did I spell that right?), with the exception of the Gale Boomerang, which still functions greatly the same.

I think they -might- go with a generic boomerang, but who knows. For all I know they could come up with a completely smash-specific design for Link for the next installement instead.

I would like to say "Given Link's status as one of the 4 core characters of Smash, I doubt that they will make big changes in his movelist" but then again we also got F.L.U.D.D. in Brawl so I guess it's wise to never say never, haha.
