Adopting is supposed to function as a sort of teaching method, but the only people on this site that don't know how to use a forum are unbearably stupid and unteachable, so it's pretty much just a game, now.

I'll just post something as an idea and wait for Hakker to answer "no".
Unless he agrees (which is pretty unlikely), let's leave this topic locked.
Hakker... please don't kill me for saying this, but how about we create an user group for "active forum-knowers" to adopt "noobs" in order to help them?
Once they are good to go, they could just "dis-adopt" them (and avoid stupid adopting competitions)
That's the most viable way to make this "adoption thingy" work on this forum...
I know it's kind of over-doing-it, but it's just an idea....
