Thanks! Look up and download Rainmeter, it lets you add various applications and objects to your desktop, like the Clock and the RAM/CPU bars. The applications/gadgets that you start with are fairly diverse as it is, but if you can do very very basic programming, then the possibilities are practically infinite.
