It'll all be over soon Nix, so enjoy yourself, I'd laugh if you got warned. (I hope not/yet do at the same time).

Damn it, kill this topic with fire.

With Nix contradicting himself ebery step of tthe way, and everyone else walking down to this damn senselessness, I think Ramsey's love advice quarters have been corrupted.

Our origin, eh?

Well let's take it all the way back to the start of the universe, but first think about this: A fraction can always be divided into a smaller fraction, correct? There is no number right next to any other number without skipping a fraction that's forever unnamed. Now take the universe, perhaps this is the same case, it was forever minuscule but never quite nothing, always was because it could never reach nothing, but let's say you think that's s***, alright? Perhaps there really was nothing, but with nothing comes no restraints, anything possible could happen then, no? Boom, universe.

And then Evolution the end.

If you seriously believe that the universe was always there, yet just so small, please elaborate. How did it get bigger?

As for your second explanation: you've managed to dodge the question artfully. How about you answer it, next time you post?

Nixter wrote:
Ok I think I've littered in this thread enough I'm not going to discuss about religion or anything anymore because I'm going to try to be responsible and stuff let's see how that works out.

This is a discussion forum. If certain topics are forbidden from discussion, what's the point of logging on?

You don't know what to think is why you don't want to continue. There has been no reasonable explanation given for how the universe was made if there wasn't any sort of divine intervention (Besides "big bang", a term so vague that you may as well admit you don't have an answer instead of bringing it up.) given to you by the atheist thinkers around you.

As for evolution, there are many counter-arguments. Irreducible complexity, the Cambrian explosion, the fact that macroevolution has never been observed, ETC. The next time you come into a thread being inflammatory, be sure you know what you're talking about. Otherwise, you're going to look like an idiot.

Far from it, dude, I took it to a PM to be responsible, like I said I would.

I will respond in public.

Also, the universe gets bigger because when things started to appear in it, it had to grow, and it kept growing and growing and growing.

Is there anything to back this up or are you simply theory-spewing? I've never seen any evidence in my life that suggests that the universe has a set of boundaries, or that it "grows to accommodate new matter." You're making a guess, and it isn't even an educated guess. It's a blind guess. An incredibly weak argument.

As to topics being 'forbidden' they are only not allowed in certain topics that aren't linked to it directly, as there are rules in place so one could have a focused discussion, instead of random comments that could have nothing to do with the topic on hand.

The conversation evolved due to comments in the thread. Conversation is never static. Read any reasonably lengthy forum thread and you'll see that. No reason to not post.

And evolution makes the most sense to me, that's why I believe in it. And if you're going to try to pull some, "Well for (Any religion) they may think that makes the most sense to them." I agree, because they are entitled to believe what they want to, and anyone can have follow whatever they want to follow, I have no objections to other religions just I think they are rubbish, but that doesn't stop me from respecting their beliefs.

OK. Look up the few keywords I posted earlier. "Cambrian explosion." "Irreducible complexity." Macroevolution isn't proved. Please tell me how a one-in-a-trillion sequence of random developments makes sense at all? I know you don't really think "oh, entitlement, all beliefs are equal" because earlier in this thread your attitude was, to paraphrase, something along the lines of "f*** Christ-freak idiots." If you think a religion is rubbish, expect to back it up. The difference between a thinker and a sheep is the argument that they have.

If you want to be treated seriously, back up your beliefs. Don't simply state them.

That doesn't change the fact that what you're saying is a load of crap. You change what you say each time you post, your point is invalid, and you try and dodge all questions until they come knocking at your door and hit you in the face

I think you lost that one already

And then decided to post here again to say, "I gotcha!" to krazeh. Alright.

BTW Ramsey.

Alright so there's this girl at my school(I'm a sophomore so I'm 15 and she's a freshman so she's maybe 14) and I agreed to take her to a school dance and she thinks it means something like... big and it doesn't. I don't want to hurt her feelings. What do I do oh love master?

Off topic: Nook, you are my favorite member.

You couldn't have just PM'd me back?

Anyway, I just said Christ-Freaks because my Catholic friends use that term to poke fun, and I do the same. Also another thing about the 'one-in-a-trillion sequence of random developments' It actually isn't one-in-a-trillion, it's a one-in-one chance, it already happened, you see.

We are who we are, so yeah, I'll say it DID happen.

I agree, we are who we are. The Creator made us that way. The burden of proof falls on you, I've already listed several arguments against evolution. You can look them up and refute them if you want to be taken seriously.

If 'The Creator' made us who we are today, then why do Jews decide to modify the body by snipping off the foreskin? Do they not think 'God' has created them perfectly and that they see a flaw?
