With Pac-Man being confirmed, instead of the assist trophy being cut, I speculate that they'll just stick a bow and a couple of dots on him, and boom, Mrs. Pac-Man.

I was thinking about resprite's and realized, whos even left?
- Ness?
- Sonic?
- Tails?

-Yoshi?

-Black Mage?

Lloyd would probably look a lot better alongside the newer sprites if he had a darker outline.

Seriously, WHY do people keep saying Ness and Black Mage need resprited?

Ness's idle definitely could be better, his hand movements are jittery and his hat gets some wonked out shading, but other than that Ness is just fine.

Look how stiff does Ness's back looks in his idle:

Also the way he is shaded and "brawlified" looks kind of ugly honestly:


While Black Mage doesn't lookd bad, his shading and movements in hiss sprites could be improved:


Otherwise, I'm fine if they decide to keep their sprites as they be, it's just that they look kind of daed given the game's new standards.

Yeah I don't think they need to be resprited completely, more that they need touchups.

Did they show if Sonic and Tails are getting new sprites or are they sticking to the current ones?

They have shown both in the Dev Blogs completely unchanged.
