You can still reverse it when it's done aerially, but not when grounded. I think it was done so that people don't persistently camp with it.

Someone told me to give a fair chance. So I did. He is surprisingly fun! He is hard to get a hang of though. A lot of his moves aren't effective in the situations you expect them to be. For edge guarding, Kamehameha and side-B are the best tools, but you really wouldn't guess to use them under stress. His combo game is also a little rough. I think I'll need to find a guide somewhere if I want to get good with him.

If done right, goku can get 100% with kaioken backthrow chains. Tested on sheik. Will update. Jigglypuff is the least affected by this. Everyone else gets demolished. DI not tested.

As suggested, I'll talk about it here because it hasn't been addressed for three patches.
Goku's Kamehameha has always reset once he lands on the ground; this doesn't happen with Kirby when he has the Goku hat on. I'd think it'd be a nice QoL change for Goku to actually not reset when on the ground.
I'll await TSON's response.

So you could do this with normal b-throws before, but now it's exclusively kaioken.

He may be like a semi-clone Captain Falcon. But for my opinion, Goku is better than Captain Falcon.

Anyone besides me just spam the Kao Ken x2? His Kao Ken idle animation looks awesome to me. I figured out some tricks for . Recovery: Holding W or Up Arrow lets you float for awhile. Holding Up after Up-Special, a little hard to notice, you float a bit after that too. Attacking: Dash attack is good for knocking foes upward for follow-up combos. Such as Up-Special, or Up-Smash. Flinch Combos: Moves like 's Neutral-Special, 's Neutral-Special, and 's Neutral-Special, etc., stun or flinch foes. And 's Side-Special is one of those but has more or less power than most of the ones above, while also having the capability to cause flinching. Although most moves do cause flinching... Sorry .

I don't need to be a Goku main to know that Dash Attack sends opponents forward & not upwards, so DA > USmash or Up b isn't true in any case whatsoever. Also, holding up after an up b doesn't really do anything. The rest is basic knowlege that anyone that's played this game should have.

I found a new trick for today. I was doing a compilation for Goku vs. all Characters in SSF2 (Replay Saves). And I was in a match of vs. in "Chaos Shrine" Stage. I had trapped in the center of the stage against the wall. I kept grabbing and Down-throwing and managed to rack up 57% damage. That was until that rude Motherfu- *ahem* I mean used Time Break or whatever that move is that stops time. Yeah lol, its really more of a sideways launch than an upwards. How is like ? I'm curious about your point-of-view. True. became my main as soon as I saw him on the roster. He has been my favorite character along with , and I still yet have more to learn about them. It is quite painful for him. But I love the transition from those tiny energy blasts to his powerful dash for his Side-special. [/quote]Nerf it now! Along with possible chains, I keep KO'ing others at a ridiculously low % with that Back-throw. Up and Side-Smashing is awesome. At the lowest % of KO I have gotten, was at like 70-80% damage. Down-air has been good to me when it comes to those Aerial combo specialists. Gets me out of a jam... (Most of the time).

Where did you get this Tier from? Besides, in the Tier list I have Sonic is low Tier and Naruto is Bottom tier, the game is already balanced (at least about viability of characters), so it doesn't really matter, his forward and back throws knockback should be nerfed.
