720 is possible.

You gotta do a Caped RAR B Reversed Reversal Falcon Punch. 180*4 and you get 720 is Zeros Math is correct. Ez monnay, right? I would do it myself, but Im stuck with Chibi :wee: (If you took this as a serious beg to get my mains back please knee yourself to the head twice)

My feeling is that why not have the move actually be viable in competitive play besides a one-in-a-million spacie-misses-DI-on-dair-at-90%-below-a-platform situation? It isn't as hype as console games, but it's still super hype to land and I think is a really cool addition to Falcon.

Falcon Punch as a concept for anything other than extreme swag is flawed. It's simply bad design to give a character a move - an aerial move, mind - with the kind of power and frame data that his version of the move possesses. If an SSF2-original character, say Luffy, had this exact version of Falcon Punch, people would be crying for nerfs. Falcon shouldn't get to keep a cheese tool that he doesn't need just because he's Falcon.

What about making Falcon Punch more akin to SSB64 version? An overal more useful move good for recovery and finishing combos, but considerably weaker. Opinions?

Somewhat related, is the Sacred Combo feasible in this game? I've tried but have been just a few frames away from it being a true combo.

See, I don't think it ever actually is. The DI and percent have to be quite specific (and character dependent) for the Falcon Punch to even be close to hitting, and then I don't think the Knee has enough hitstun based on its KB to actually combo into Falcon Punch. It either knocks them too far away (but has enough hitstun to potentially combo) or it puts them at the perfect distance (but there isn't enough hitstun).

Is Falcon Punch really a cheese tool? Unless you get a hard read on getup rolls (because tech options are too fast to cover and so is normal getup, although maybe you could get insane spacing and outrange a getup attack or jump over the first hit, which would also work on some characters), there's essentially no way to land it besides the same dair setup as Melee. If you get read that hard, it seems like a pretty decent punish instead of say, dair -> uair -> Knee or dair -> Knee (or just Knee), both of which also work for a hard read of that caliber.
