Even though Mega Man was one of the characters nerfed this demo, it allowed me to notice a lot more tricks the Blue Bomber had, like how his shield when used in the air provides a boost of movement, mostly useful on Yoshi's Island.

I have to ask. I don't play MM, but I'm curious.

How good is the aerial Weapon Menu at pulling off stalls/feints?

I noticed a change in the Black hole bomb's behavior:
0.9a:BHB stays even if it misses, opponents can break out.
0.9b:BHB dissapears if it misses, and if it connects, your opponent Can't Escape!

Fantastic! This made me use it more often. I shoot a black hole bomb then finish them with my Up Smash.

They can mash out like a grab, and also a strong attack will force the black hole bomb to let go.

Mega Man can bomb jump using Crash Bomb if it happens to be perfect shielded back on you. You control when it explodes as well..if you happen to use it before it explodes naturally. Always knocks you to the right though.

Not that great for stalling but it can disrupt your opponent's edgeguarding process.

If you come out of aerial Weapon Menu, you'd probably have to resort to Up-Special anyways. But if you get hit by your opponent once, you're a goner (unless they somehow hit you twice or more, you can use Up-Special again)

I must admit, Mega Man is a character that I don't really like to play. Just because he doesn't have many options for aggressiveness, which bugs me.

Though he's good if you don't feel like trying very hard, just spam and you'll probably win or come close to it.

So after practicing Megaman in 0.9b I can safely that megaman for feels the same as he was as 0.9a with the exception of a few things. These changes include the Black Hole Bomb Completely suck now in this version. In 0.9a you could at least use it for edge guarding since you can use it whenever you please plus it sucks the opponent in if they were close. But in 0.9b you actually have to hit the opponent with it which is really hard to do and even then it doesn't do much at all. His back air also has a bit more of a start up since Mega man's back air in 0.9a was instantaneous. Other than that Megaman feels mostly the same. I just wish megaman in SSF2 would have his SSB4 since he's been announced for like a while. Plus everyone must've saw a good look at his ssb4 moveset from the best buy/ comic con event by now. Also this might be a bit nitpicky here but why use Megaman's sprites from MM7?? Its just so outdated compared to most of the other sprites out there... I mean you could've used Gregarlink's Megaman sprite's or just make your own like you did with Mario/Link/DK etc...... Same goes for Sonic and Tails the advance/battle sprites. You could have used some of deebs sprites from the modgen archive or made your own for them as well. Look I'm completely apologize if I sound completely arrogant/rude to the developers for saying this. The developers clearly did an amazing job for this version. But I just don't like how Megaman, Sonic, and tails look ridiculous compared to most of the cast.

BHB is supposed to be hard to hit. If you trap someone with it near the blast line, it's a pretty easy KO with a bair if they're at a moderately high percentage.

Also, crash bombs are freaking legit, metal blade is much better than before, and guts arm is another good edgeguarding move.

Crash bomb is without a doubt Mega man's best projectile move in ssf2. The setup's you can do with it like forward air to down throw to crash bomb is just insane.
