well they're gonna start with cutting out the entire crossdressing part

they were hyping it up mostly for star fox because while we knew the game was coming we literally have seen nothing about it beyond today. i wanna use zelda U as an example of if we have nothing to show lets not show it but that's basically what they did last year with it and star fox and actually showed nothing. this year they didn't really do any cinematics they just did trailers with gameplay. i can't be certain because i don't work for nintendo or anything like that. but it's likely they wanna actually show off gameplay this time rather than do what everyone else did with CGI cinematics and if they don't think it's in the state to show it off they just didn't wanna show it off.

like i said i know why people are mad i understand that but at the same time it feels like just be happy you have something rather than another year of nothing.

i know this seems like a load of s*** but im just trying to put my 2-cents in because literally all gaming has turned into babies crying over not getting what they wanted lately i know it would help companies to actually release what fans want. but its at the point where whenever a dev releases something that isn't what the fans specifically want even when it looks fun. it turns into a f*** whining festival. every game that has come out for the past few years have had constant b**** tied to them. i get wanting to give your opinion on it but most of the time it ends up so stupid and annoying.

sorry but CG cinematic trailers are still better than garbage looking metroid name exploitation and amiibo board games

what this feels like is more along the lines of what sony and microsoft did last year with showing off something big and than talking about a bunch of stuff people were just like meh ok but this time it's nintendo

I second this.
I'm sick and tired of everyone brushing this s*** off because "it's nintendo". Nintendo is a game company like everyone else and they DO NOT deserve to be defended and given special treatment from fans because of nostalgia blind-ness.
I really want to support nintendo, I really do but when they do stuff like this I don't even wanna look at them. They have no clue what they're doing anymore and it's sad.

Yea, at least Star Fox Zero looks pretty good

From the footage it looks rather nice graphically, could be better texture-wise but it's still a good 5 months away.
I'm so glad they decided to use elements from Starfox 2 though, that game was gonna be awesome until they scrapped it.

Also giving nintendo a D+ is generous. I gave it an F. Personally I thought Ubisoft was way better.

The presentation was cute, it announced a new game I like (Mario & Paper Mario) and it had trailers and such for several existing games I'm interested in (Fire Emblem, Starfox, Xenoblade X, etc)

None of that counts for a whole lot but its better than an F

On the other hand if you offered me every game Ubisoft showed yesterday for a dollar I would decline

Ironically, despite you s*** on people going easy on Nintendo because they're Nintendo, I think you're demonstrating the exact same bias by s*** on Nintendo as hard as you are for what was a disappointing, but ultimately not the end of the world, conference, because they're Nintendo and your expectations were higher

i keep seeing people call it shovelware when it's like name 1 f*** shooter like this right now for a portable platform. i know people are mad they used the prime universe but calling it a bad game just because of a name is seriously stupid. because as a game it doesn't even look that bad. complain about the title if you want. but atleast wait till f*** next year and if the game doesn't look fun than by all means complain all you want about it gameplay wise.
