Oh yeah. I saw in the Luigi reveal that his Up-B didn't look that strong.. Hopefully the opponents were all just at mid-low percents. It would be a bummer if Luigi lost what made him the first Street Fighter character before Ryu.

I dislike how people call his sweet spotted up special shoryuken instead of its real name, Fire jump punch. I don't know, I guess I don't like having a move be called something else then what its really called.

I wouldn't go that far to call him the first street fighter character.

Go as Green Mario on Final Destination and put the Amulet on the ground and sacrifice your Computer to summon CLEOD-BOT where he will unlock Luigi for you and then proceed to erase your entire computer and upgrade it to a Windows 98, making SSF2 unplayable

Luigi isn't officially in the game yet, but they will be adding him this year, along with the other newcomers.

No they are not. Dude they are adding WaLuigi instead. Stop lying to the dude, Luigi isn't as cool as WaLuigi, the devs know this and this is why WaLuigi is here to stay. :smug:


Edit:
From the look of Cyclone, it looks like it gains Brawl's recovery height while functioning like 64, with the two hits and KO'ing off the top.

Luigi looks dank asf.

2-hit Cyclone that kills off the top hype. Also THAT RECOVERY

Not very sure about him being light though. His SH can be a bit lower too.

I guess I'll have the "end him before he ends you" mentality when I play.

Yeah I can't wait for him as well.

Yep 64 and Brawl Cyclone together makes for a great combination.

I am not sure he is light, they said he has below average weight, but Luigi has always been a middle weight in the main games, I can understand making him a little lighter then Mario which I would do. This is shown in Brawl and Smash 4 where his weight is 97 and Mario's 98.

From what I got from the weights, they mostly use a character's highest weight from across the game series, Zelda and Sheik have 90 from Melee while Yoshi has 111 from the pal Melee. ZSS on the hand is heavier then she is in the main games.

Edit:
I talked to a dev about how they view weights, they view him as having below average weight, but he is a middle weight.

I feel as though if the first hit of DownB knocks people up (even with no or bad DI) that it is going to be jank. I'd say a balanced way for downB to not be jank but still fulfill its purpose would be simply to have little to no KB but large amounts of hitstun; meaning it would be a combo finisher and not something you can just throw up while they fall down. an example of such would be an old mario gfy of mine, https://gfycat.com/UnsteadyGratefulAmethystgemclam
