And actually funnily enough it wasn't like that at my house, the threat was there and we obeyed with wide eyes. We never actually tempted our parents......thoughhhhh one time my sister did get beat once when she stole candy from a store and proceeded to blatantly lie about it. If we ever got beat, we would have deserved it. I'm still undecided if I would ever beat my children, I don't think I'd have the heart to do it.
