Microsoft announced they are going to close Ensemble Studios once "Halo Wars" is released. They say their decision is fiscally rooted, and does not reflect the talent or work of the studio. They sure are getting rid of a talented studio. That "fiscally rooted" reason is BS. It's Microsoft, they have craploads of money to support a great developer like Ensemble. _________________ Place all complaints in the circular file. |

According to the article, the leaders of Ensemble are going to form another studio...
But still, why would you get rid of such a good studio? The games Ensemble produces are really good -- I like Age of Empires, myself. |

I always had fond memories of massing Paladins in AoEII against my friends in a mutliplayer deathmatch in the school computer lab. The first one however had the most interesting time period. Antiquity > Medieval. _________________ |
