Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight came out this year and it's worthy to at least mention. If we could do a metriodvania category that would be great, but it's apparently a soulslike, so I'd like to nominate for that if there are no other metriodvanias this year.

Well, Rabi-Ribi, Owlboy, Ghost 1.0, Salt and Sanctuary, Song of the Deep, Pharaoh Rebirth+, and to a certain extent Haydee all came out this year, so I guess you're in luck. _________________

Capcom's idea of anti-cheating software is apparently to install a rootkit on your computer that bypasses your security system in order to run its program. _________________

I'm gonna say one nomination per franchise in each category, so if you have two favorite pokemon, you gotta pick one. We also need some nominations for Best Boss Battle; it might not have been a spectacular year for them, but we still got Dark Souls 3 and Furi, so it wasn't completely absent of them.
