 What do you think? I will make a better one soon... Here is it.  Better now? What I need to fix... ●Pose is so stiff... ●Spikes have to much texturing in background... ●Eyes,mouth and arms... ●Make the spikes smaller(look too big for the head)... ●Too bright... ●Pallette looks kinda strange... ●The Shoes aren't in proper proportion to the rest of the body... ●Outlines on the spikes, the gloves and the top part of the shoes... ●Blended style on the legs and on the shoes that don't match the style of the sprite at all... ●The right glove doesn't match the position of Sonic ●Unnecessary and hard-to-see outline near Sonic's eye... ●Too many colors of blue, gray, and red. Some of them look like they are better off being removed from the color palette of the sprite... ●Spikes are gradient shaded... ●Gloves and the top part of the shoes should be white, Not gray... ●Spikes aren't as 'spiky' and 'sharp'... ●Way too many jagged lines...  Here i just changed the colors...   I skipped the dark colours... I know i suck...  It's better now?  The spikes are better now? It looks okay, you shouldn't have resized it. The head is the best part about the sprite overall, but the shading on the shoes are kinda bright.

The Shoes aren't in proper proportion to the rest of the body. Other than that it's fine.

Its a jpg file. Never save sprites as jpg files. It distorts the pixels. (Also your signature is jpg too)

Well yes; Try to always save your works in PNG or bitmap format; PNG is better beacause it consumes less free space. JPG can make some pixels to look really, really bad. And this was the reason why your sprite got some weird colors.

... You are making these in paint, right? Cause if you C+P these into a editing program, (the one in your sig) has the background as the one from the forums, instead of a transparent background. |
